I recently purchased the Solo 451 and due to the issues I'm experiencing the price could be a lot lower. I'm an engineer by trade and very mechanically proficient. I first saw that the entire blower assembly could be redesigned due to faulty parts. I had to purchase a longer clear plastic hose (the one supplied was too short). I purchased hose clamps to keep the solution from leaking out. The entire blower assembly comes apart during use. I had to purchase clamps and stainless steel screws to keep it together. The tank leaks from the top when filled up. I have a regular gasoline blower from Stihl which I use for my leaves. It's a way better product design wise. Silo Is also very heavy once filled. The engine requires a mixture of gas and oil but does work well. This machine is not for the faint of heart. You'll need some skills to keep it going. I decided to keep it only due to my abilities to fix the problems that should have been redesigned. I would not recommend this product at the asking price. Drop it a couple hundred then it worth it due to all the issues. Just a poorly designed product.

I have used the solo mist blower 451 for 2 years now. Pros runs great! Cons straps snapped after a year, the nozzle attachment keeps blowing off, lost 2 already. Bolts vibrate loose after much use and leaks all over you. Thank goodness I use Organic. Must always check and re tighten and reseal top cap inside rubber gasket wears away and leaks. Mind you I own a tick and mosquito control business and have done about 300 applications with this one machine. That's why I give 4 stars. I just wish they had a standard replacement parts kit. Straps, nozzle attachment kit, gasket etc. That would be ideal. I would recommend to a friend.

works great start is a little hard to get use to and the blower tube is hard to aim straight up in the air, When the choke is off it should be at a 11 to 5 angle, Vertical to apply the choke !

Works great. I'd recommend that you get the booster pump if you have any trees. I use it with Talstar for mosquito control. Works great. Pays for itself in a year if you spray all summer.

I purchased the Solo 451 Mist Blower along with Talstar P and I am very pleased with the operation of the blower and quality of the product. Certainly will continue using in the future.

The unit is of good quality and works very well. I do have a problem keeping the nozzle hose on the elbow, the clamp is not sufficient. The unit also runs on when shutting off and I don't know why I'm not a mechanic. Other than that it is a good quality mister but very heavy.

Heavy back pack cuts into your back, so hard to start, will not spray if pointed up in the tree if they want it back i'll send it!! please take it! please!

We have owned stihls before this and will be buying more again Upon receiving this mist blower it would not start. We could not get gas to go to the carb, We found out the hose was not securely on the right way. After fixing it and one test try the hose came back off. Besides that the back pack is horribly weighed. the straps do not go up high enough so all the pressure hits your lower pack and the bottom digs into you. Super Disappointed

One of the parts broke 5 days after I purchased one of this. I had to order the part and fixed myself. But, in general not a bad backpack mister.
