Darrell from Dawsonville Georgia writes

Some areas of my lawn turned yellow after I applied Clearys 3336F Fungicide. What could cause this?

Answer:

Clearys 3336F Fungicide should not cause any discoloration to the lawn when used as directed.  It should not be applied to lawns that are heat or drought stressed.  There are a few different things that could be causing the damage to your lawn including fungus, insects or just general need of nutrients and boosts in the summer heat. If you dont know for certain what you have you may want to take an entire soil and grass sample to a local cooperative extension office or master gardener in your area to see if they can help you specifically identify what you have going on that could be affecting your lawn.
