    Q
Can Southern Ag Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec be used to kill wild strawberries in our yard?
Can this product be used to kill wild strawberries in our grass? Not sure of grass type since its been here before we moved in. But so has the wild strawberry plants with runners everywhere. 1/3 acre. We think grass is mixed variety of many types. Live in cold climate of Mountainous Quebec Canada. Thank you.
    A

Trimec is able to kill many weeds and may certainly control the wild strawberries, however it is not labeled for it, so we cannot tell if you for sure if it will work since it has not been tested on the plant. Most products that contain 2,4-d would likely control the strawberries without harming your grass but any product you choose to use you will want to ensure cool season grasses are on the label.
