    How long after spray Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide at the higher rate of 5 tsp per gallon on tomatoes do I need to wait to harvest?

    According to the manufacturer, Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide can be used up until the day of harvest on your tomatoes, providing you wash them thoroughly before eating them.  Keep in mind that the product label instructs repeating the application at 7-10 intervals for listed diseases on tomato plants.

    When can the vegetables be eaten after spraying Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide?
    What precautions should be taken, washing peeling etc.

    Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide preharvest interval depends on the type of plants you are applying on.  Please refer to the product label for complete instructions.  Listed crops should be washed thoroughly before consumption/use.

    Per the product label, Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide is not labeled to be used sooner than 7 day intervals for certain vegetables and fruits.

    How many ounces of Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide are needed per gallon of water to treat 8 to 12 ft tall Leyland Cypress trees?
    The trees are two years old, have been treated with Nutrol in May of last year followed with a Propiconazole spray at 3 week intervals during the summer and early fall.

    The amount of Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide per gallon of water would depend on the type of disease you are dealing with. However, the typical mix rate is 1-6 tsp per gallon of water. How many gallons it will take, depends on the size of the tree. You just want to make sure you are getting full coverage of the entire tree.

    Can Liquid Copper fungicide be used on orchids & at what strength?

    No, Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide is not specifically labeled for use on orchids, so we would not recommend using this product.

    How soon should I expect to see results when Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide is used on ball moss in trees?
    I have a mix of texas Persimmon and Oaks with a large aamount of Ball Moss.

    When using Southern Ag Liquid Copper for ball moss in live oak, apply 2 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Apply in the spring when ball moss is actively growing using 1.5 gallons of spray per foot of tree height. Make sure to wet ball moss tufts thoroughly. A second application may be required after 12 months. It could take weeks along with other treatment methods using a combination of continual pruning, picking and spraying as directed.
