The best thing we can recommend is checking the drainage conditions such as sunlight, runoff, leveling/low spots, soil pH, and turf health to help mitigate concerns about mushrooms.
We recommend you contact your local cooperative extension office and get the mushroom identified. The master gardener on staff should be able to tell you what will work to eliminate the type of mushroom you are dealing with.
