Southern Ag Natural Pyrethrin Concentrate is labeled to be used as a space spray for mosquitoes. Be aware it will only kill the insects that are out in the open at the time you spray. The instructions are as follows:
Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate is not labeled for clothes moths. You can find all of the products we carry for clothes moths here.
Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate is not labeled for such an application. We are unaware of any pyrethrin based product labeled for a spot on application on dogs.
While Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate can be tank mixed with residual insecticides labeled for fleas and IGR’s to stop the growth cycle, you would not tank mix a pyrethrin insecticide with a non repellent insecticide like Alpine WSG. This will void the non repellency of the active ingredient Dinotefuran.
For outdoor applications treating fleas, a residual insecticide such as Talstar P would be a better tank mixing partner along with the Tekko Pro IGR.
Please view our Flea Treatment Guide for more information.
Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate is labeled to kill beetles including Japanese Beetles. The label just does not break down every species it controls.
Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate is not specifically labeled for Japanese beetles but likely would kill them if sprayed directly with the product during treatment. For residual control instead, you may use a product such as Talstar P. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.
Pyrethrin is a natural insecticide that will not leave a residual, therefore Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate will only kill on contact and once it's dry there will be no residual left.

Southern Ag Natural Pyrethrin Concentrate, like most insecticides, is not specifically tested or labeled for use on marijuana plants so we cannot comment or recommend it for this use. Customers will need to make their own decision as to what they consider safe. Some of these products are natural and organic and others are not. Some products, like the miticides, probably shouldn't be used when the plants are flowering. You may also try reaching out to the manufacturer for advice.
Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate should be applied to listed areas when the cats are not present. They can return once the treated areas are completely dry.

Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate is not labeled for use in misting systems. For a misting system, we suggest Martins Permethrin 10% plus Martins SynerPRO Syngergist for a 55-gallon drum. For light to moderate infestations, use ½ gallon Martins Permethrin 10% with 7 fl oz Martins SynerPro Synergist in a 55-gallon drum. For heavy infestations or difficult pests, use 1 gallon Martins 10% Permethrin with 16 fl oz Martins SynerPRO in 55 gallon drum.
Treating the horses directly with a Martins Permethrin 36.8% would be recommended to protect the animals against horn flies, face flies, stable flies, house flies, horse flies, black flies, eye gnats, mange mites, scabies mites, ticks, lice, and fleas. Mix rate is 0.25 fl oz per 16 fl oz of water and applied at 1-2 fl. oz. spray per animal. Spot treat back, face, legs, tail and ears. Please refer to the product label and consult with your veterinarian before treating.
The use rate of Southern Ag Pyrehrin Concentrate will depend on what you're treating for and what type of equipment you're using. One part can be any measurement. For example, if the label says to use 1 part of Southern Ag Pyrethrin Concentrate to 7 parts of water and you use 1 cup of the concentrate you would then use 7 cups of water.
