Ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench is not labeled for Spider Mites. 
 
Talstar P Professional Insecticide would be recommended as a foliar application, which will provide optimal spider mite control when applied during spring to mid-summer. The addition of a surfactant or horticultural oil may increase the effectiveness of this product. Please review the product label for more information. 
 
Avid 0.15 EC Miticide Insecticide can be used in rotation with Talstar P to help prevent resistance by Spider Mites. Rotating insecticides with different active ingredients and modes of action can be effective during high pest seasons or severe infestations. Rotating insecticides can be done after 2-3 applications before switching or at longer intervals depending on the level of infestation.
