Does Zylam work to kill SLF?
Yes, Zylam Liquid Systemic Insecticide can be used to control Spotted Lantern Fly. The spotted lanternfly is an invasive pest that, according to the PennState Extension, can be controlled with a combination of physical removal and pesticide applications. I'm including a link to the PennState Extension Management for Homeowners they have. I'll also include links to two of the systemics they list as something that worked, and a foliar pesticide that they also listed. None of these chemicals is labeled for spotted lanternfly, but according to this article, they've worked.
We would also recommend checking with your local extension office if yours doesn't work with PennState.

I would like to point out that although the products list these as contact as well, they don't mean they will kill on contact but that can be sprayed on tree surfaces or the pest and will kill them but not on contact.
