Stink Bug trap and replacement
By Sue on 09/21/2011
I ordered the Strube trap in May 2011. I have never caught one stink bug yet. It was time to get the replacement for winter and I purchased it in August. It is now installed and might I say, better improvements on the design compared to the original one. I had a question when I purchased from Strube in May, not this site and never received an e-mail response nor any communication at all about arrival or shipment. With DoMyOwnPestControl.com it was great. Super communication and delivery. Maybe I just do not have any stink bugs inside yet. This is very costly (too costly) for the design, but I hate the bugs and I am willing to try anything.

stink bug trap replacement sleeve
By Chris on 02/07/2013
I am thoroughly disappointed in this product. I thought I would receive a replacement for the middle section of the stink bug trap. Instead I received a flexible wrap without instructions on how to use it with my existing original stink bug trap. I would not buy this again. It's a high price for a piece of paper with glue on it. The paper isn't even perforated. It's useless to me. I had to rate it with a start, but I wouldn't even give it a 1 star.
It works!

I really like this trap, it worked for over a year before I had to use the replacement. In one day, there were at least 50 bugs trapped after I placed the new sleeve. Amazed, because I was sure we had nearly eradicated the bugs. We use it in the attic, where it keeps the bugs from migrating into the living area of our house. Hardly ever see a stink bug in our living areas. They all stay in the attic and die there.
Stink bug trap

Our house in Virginia has been infested with stink bugs every winter for the last 3 years. I happened to see your situation in the show Infested. I immediately ordered 2 stink bug traps. They work wonderfully!!! We sit in the dark with the traps on the mantle. You would not believe the bugs that have been caught. Thank you for saving my sanity!!!
Could use instructions!

The replacement sleeve came without instructions but it's not hard. Take out the screw at the top of the light and pull it open. You can slip the old sleeve off and put the new one on without much mess. That is also how you change the lightbulb if needed. We don't know where are stinkbugs are coming in so we keep this in the living area which is annoying but it does work!
