Subterranean termites are now in my house. How to rid myself and protect against?

I am 69 but able to do work. Must try to do as much on my own as possible. Trenching around my house will be difficult. Have a crawl space under house and can negotiate that area. Also have out buildings (working on one now) where trenching will be difficult. Can I be as thorough w/out trenching? What sprays and foams should I use? Poisonous fumes are a concern for me & my 92-yr-old mom. Hate poisons as dangerous to me and incidental animals. Thank you

Answer:

Trenching treatments are really the most effective treatment methods for subteranean termite treaments. You can use Altriset which is known to be less toxic than other traditional termite products and may better fit your needs.
