    Q
What is the best exterior spray that you can use to keep insects off your house for the longest period?
    A
Our most popular product that has the longest residual is called Suspend Polyzone.  It lasts longer than most products, about 90 days indoors and outdoors.  This is because it has a polymer technology that ensures the active ingredient stays where it’s applied after drying and protects it from weather, irrigation and mechanical interference.

    Q
Whats the difference in Suspend SC & Polyzone?
They both claim to last 3 months & have the same active ingredi
    A
While both products do share the same active ingredient their formulations are very different. Suspend SC will only last for about 30 days outdoors (90 days indoors) while Suspend Polyzone has been tested and will last for 90 days outdoors. Suspend Polyzone has a unique poly coating over the particles of the product which protects it from weathering and makes the residual last longer. Suspend Polyzone was also designed to stay up on the surface of even very porous areas such as concrete or wood which makes the product more available to insects.

    Q
Will Suspend Polyzone help eliminate Asian Roaches?
    A
Suspend Polyzone will help control Asian roaches. You must be sure you are using Suspend Polyzone as part of your roach control program not all by itself for best results. Along with superior sanitation you should also be using a high quality roach bait to help control the roaches that like to remain hidden behind walls and cabinets and also an insect growth regulator (IGR) to help stop the breeding cycle of the roaches while you are trying to get rid of the infestation.

    Q
Will Suspend Polyzone work for Carpenter ants?
    A
Suspend Polyzone will carpenter ants that come in contact with the treated area. We recommend using a product that will be taken back the colony like our Carpenter Ant Kit.
Both baits work together to eliminate the carpenter ant colony. Certain carpenter ants may take better to one bait than the other, giving you a greater chance of bait acceptance and effectiveness. In addition, the Maxforce gel is more versatile in where you can place it. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Q
Will Suspend Polyzone kill stink bugs?
    A
Apply Suspend Polyzone outdoors on all door frames, window frames, areas where utilities (cables, pipes, wires) enter into the structure, a band of soil 6 to 10 feet adjacent to the structure, also to a height of 2 to 3 feet on the foundation where pests may be active or may find entrance. As the stink bugs crawl over the treated area, they will receive a lethal does of the insecticide and usually die within a few hours. You should treat every month starting in August and ending in November for best results. Stinkbugs are usually not a problem for most people until fall when they start looking for a nice warm place to spend the winter.

Is Suspend Polyzone safe to use on all indoor surfaces? How long is its shelf life?
I was wondering if this is safe to use on all indoor surfaces, such as drapes, laminate flooring, linoleum, plastic, carpet, wood blinds, etc.? Perhaps the better question is are there any surfaces that this may cause damage to if used on? What is the shelf life of the product once opened? Will it last more than a season?

What is safe indoors for spiders...carpets and baseboards?
I have Suspend Polyzone but I can not spray that near carpet etc?
    A
Suspend Polyzone can be used inside and for spiders you don't need to treat the entire carpet areas.  You apply to areas such as cracks and crevices in and around baseboards, walls, expansion joints, arounds around water and sewer pipes or utility penetrations, and voids created by equipment and applicances.

    Q
Does Suspend Polyzone kill flies outside?
We are having a horrible time with flies outside around our porches and especially where the pet food bowls are. We have fly bags everywhere and still have them, also the fly bags smell so bad it's hard to have them by the areas we sit .Will this help?
    A

Yes, Suspend Polyzone is labeled for use on flies.

We would also recommend a fly bait, such as Golden Malrin. It can be placed inside of a Fly Bait Station at least 4 feet above the ground so that it is inaccessible to pets. It can also be scattered around the porch and other places where the flies are.

    Q
Is Suspend Polyzone the same as Bayer's Annihilator Polyzone and would you recommend this for mosquitoes?
    A
We do not carry the Annihilator so do not know if it is the same as the Suspend Polyzone.  While Suspend Polyzone is labeled for mosquito, Talstar P is our most popular selling product for mosquito control.  It is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water and apply using any hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer.  The key is to apply it to all shrubs, trees, and other foliage around the house or patio you are trying to provide relief at.  It should be directed not only on top of the leaves and plants, but on the underside of the leaves as well which is where the mosquitoes hang out.  It should be applied every 30 days for optimum control.  It is also very good for bees and wasps, however you would not want to apply it or any other product directly to play sets where children will touch treated surfaces.  Also, Talstar P is labeled for over 100 different insects and will work in just about any situation.
