    Q
Can my dog eat grass that has been treated with Suspend Polyzone?
when mixed with water is only strong enough to kill small insects, like ants. Your dogs would have to eat a truckload of grass most likely to get sick, and they would probably get much more sick from the grass then the Talstar. However, of course we recommend anything you can do to minimize your dogs from eating the grass

  • Asked by David from Los Angeles, Ca.
    07/12/2015
    Q
If I treat a cement patio with Suspend Polyzone and the sprinkler hits the treated area
If I treat a cement patio with Suspend Polyzone and the sprinkler hits the treated area a couple days later, would it be safe for my dog to lick the standing water?
    A

Suspend Polyzone once dry, will not reconstitute and as long as the product was applied according to the product label there should be no issues. The bigger issue with the sprinkler hitting the treated area is that it could wash the product away sooner than if it stayed dry so it would be best to have the sprinkler set to not spray the patio if possible.

  • Asked by Oscar from Ft. Worth, Tx
    06/14/2015
    Q
Is Suspend Polyzone a good choice for spider or bee problems?
I need the best priced (preferably under 40 bucks) concentrate pesticide that I can spray around the perimeter of the house and should I happen to encounter a nasty spider or bee, spray them and they immediately go down. I'm more concerned about having spider knock down for the nasty types of spiders.
    A
Suspend Polyzone is a very good product that will last about 90 days outdoors. It is not a contact kill so it will take time in order to kill the pests. This can be used indoors as well, around the baseboards, cracks and crevices. Outdoors, it can be used on brushes, trees, flowers, broadcast across your lawn, etc. It cannot be sprayed on any type of edibles. If you are looking for a faster knockdown, we would recommend mixing this product with ExciteR Insecticide.

  • Asked by John from Clifton Park, New York
    06/06/2015
    Q
Is Suspend Polyzone the longest lasting pesticide for spiders, ants, beetles and other house pests?
Something that will not wash off foundation walls and ground perimeter easily by rain. Soil type is sand.
    A
One of the best all-around pesticides that will hold up well in intense weathering is Suspend Polyzone. This is great as a perimeter treatment and is labeled for all the pests you have mentioned. Keep in mind that excessive rain will cause any insecticide to degrade over time.

  • Asked by Stev from Corpus Christi,tx
    06/05/2015
    Q
How does Suspend Polyzone compare to Talstar P?
    Which has better results?
    A
They are both excellent products for general pest control. Suspend Polyzone will give you 90 days of residual effectiveness regardless of rainfall and UV light due to its unique polymer formulation. Talstar will have roughly a 30 day residual outdoors. Both products have similar pest labels and will control many of the same insects. The biggest deciding factor between the two products will be the residual properties of each product.

  • Asked by Kristin from The Woodlands, Tx
    05/28/2015
    Q
Is there anything that would last longer outdoors than Suspend SC?
We live in The Woodlands, TX.
    A
Suspend SC will typically only last about a month outdoors. However, there is a longer lasting version of Suspend SC called Suspend Polyzone. Suspend Polyzone features a proprietary polymer layer that protects the active ingredient from weather, irrigation and mechanical abrasion. This controlled release formulation, which resists erosion, ensures your treatment will continue to control targeted pests for up to 90 days outdoors.

    Q
Suspend Polyzone Runoff toxicity to fish
My yard slopes into a water retention area that eventually makes it's way to the Cheasapeake bay. It is dry most of the year. Do you you think that runoff from Suspend and/or bilfen granules could realistically cause a problem? If so, are there any similar products you would recommend that would not be toxic to fish? Thank you.
    A
If  Suspend Polyzone runs into an aquatic environment it could harm fish. We would reccomend to apply Eco Via in that area. It will not harm fish.

  • Asked by Jamie from Neenah, Wi
    05/07/2015
    Q
Is Suspend Polyzone safe to use around landscape plants?
This was suggested as a perimeter treatment around out home. We have non-food landscape plants around our house and will likely have some contact with the product. Will this harm landscape plantings?
    A
Suspend Polyzone is safe to use on ornamental plants and is labeled for use for many pests commonly found on ornamentals. We would not recommend spraying flowering plants or in areas where bees or similar pollinators are present so as not to harm these beneficial insects.

    Q
I'm looking for a perimeter spray that will last 90 days or longer so I only have to apply a perimeter spray once or twice a season.
I'm in Wisconsin. I'm looking for a perimeter spray that will last 90 days or longer so I only have to apply a perimeter spray once or twice a season. Can you give me some options? Thank You. I have Talstar Pro that I bought last year, but I don't think it is long acting.
    A

Suspend Polyzone will last for 90 days outdoors as well as 90 days to indoor cracks and crevices. Please refer to the product label for a complete list of targeted insects. Termidor SC can also be applied up against the structure (1ft up and 1 ft out) for a twice a year barrier up against the foundation. Do not mix the two products together. Termidor SC is NOT labeled for indoor applications or other areas on the exterior of the property.

  • Asked by Diane from Cave Creek, Az
    05/05/2015
    Q
Will Suspend Polyzone harm the wild lizards outside my home?
    A
As long as Suspend Polyzone is not sprayed directly on the lizards the product should not cause them harm. You will see a reduction of the lizards however because by spraying Suspend Polyzone you will be eliminating their food source near your home and they will naturally go in search of better hunting grounds.

  • Asked by Russell from Tellico Plains, Tn
    04/10/2015
    Q
What is the best product for outdoor use that will kill stink bugs and lady bugs?
I am looking for an insecticide that has a long residual, low odor, that won't stain and also safe for pets. I would like to apply the insecticide with my powered back pack blower/sprayer.
    A
We would recommend using Temprid SC. It is labeled for lady bugs and stink bugs. This can be used indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, be sure to spray the areas around doors, windows, and other entrance points for the pests. This can also be used indoors around the baseboards and cracks and crevices. This can be sprayed about every 30 days outdoors and 90 days indoors.

I want to put barrier around my home for spiders, ants and giant flying cockroaches.
    What is best spray solution?
    A
We would recommend using Suspend Polyzone. It is a very good general insecticide that can be broadcast across your lawn and sprayed indoors. Suspend Polyzone features a proprietary polymer layer that protects the active ingredient from weather, irrigation and mechanical abrasion. This controlled release formulation, which resists erosion, ensures your treatment will continue to control targeted pests for up to 90 days outdoors. This does need to be applied with a pump sprayer. Indoors, you will spray around the baseboards and cracks and crevices. Outdoors, you will spray around the perimeter of your home, in the lawn, etc. Make sure you spray the product in areas where the spiders are so that they can come in contact with it.
