    Q
Can this be used on a hose end sprayer?
I'm wondering how and to what ratio this would be used in a big box garden sprayer. I'm trying to get the distance to target the Carpenter bees that take over every spring. I'll say, I've used your products for so many years. Ohio, Florida, and back to Georgia. Beats the..... out of the overpriced crap the bug companies use/charge. I just happen to be interested in doing away with all of n. Ga. Carpenter bees population.
    A

Suspend SC can be used in a hose-end sprayer, you would need to apply 1.50oz per gallon. Unfortunately, we cannot determine what setting to put it on to dispense this rate, you may need to contact the manufacturer of the sprayer for assistance. Otherwise, it may be easier to apply it using a pump sprayer.

Suspend SC is a water-based product and should dry clear when used correctly.

    Q
Can I use Suspend SC and Demon WP in intervals for a severe infestation of German Roaches or just keep 1?
    A

Both Suspend SC and Demon WP are labeled to target roaches, and it is not a bad idea to rotate products every few applications to switch up the active ingredients to provide different modes of action to prevent any possible resistance issues, however, these products alone would not be a recommended solution.

Instead, one of our roach control kits would be recommended for roach control. These professional kits includes non-staining, low odor concentrated insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get Roach Bait Gel to help get rid of those roaches that like to hide. Baits can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, an Insect Growth Regulator is offered which will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. The insecticide must be applied with a 1 gallon pump sprayer.

    Q
    Will this kill German roaches?
If this won't work, what do you have I can mix and spray?
    A

Suspend SC can be applied to interior cracks and crevices quarterly and exterior listed areas monthly. It is labeled for roaches but should not be the sole product for treatment. German roaches are difficult to get rid of and require a combination of efforts including a professional, residual perimeter spray (inside and out), professional roach bait (rotation every 90 days and replacing bait placements every couple of weeks), insect growth regulator, reduction of food and water sources, exclusion and time. Please take a few moments to check out our Roach Control Kits here as well as our treatment article/videos for additional information on a successful program.

  • Asked by Lawrence from Clearwater, Florida
    11/17/2022
    Q
How long is the residual is active?
Once sprayed on the surface, how long does it usually last for killing power? If rained on does it continue to kill or do you need to re-spray each time? Is it only a contact killer?
    A

Suspend SC has a residual of 90 days indoors & 30 days outdoors. The product states to spray it when rain is not expected for 24 hours, the product will remain active even if it rains. If you have constant rain, you may need to reapply in 3 weeks rather than 4. It is also not a contact kill, it is a residual kill. A contact kill such as ExciteR Insecticide can be mixed with it.

    Q
Does Suspend SC work on stink bugs?
    A

Suspend SC is a very popular product for stink bugs and widely used by our customers.  The key to stink bug control is to treat in the fall when the stink bugs normally look for entry into a home.  Even more important is to make sure there are no cracks around windows or under doors.  You should seal all cracks and holes with caulk or other suitable material to prevent entry from stink bugs and other pests during the fall and winter.
