    Q
If any of the Suspend SC were to get on the apple tree, would it damage the tree or the fruit?
I have carpenter bees boring into my fence. There is also an apple tree in the immediate vicinity. If any of the Suspend SC were to get on the apple tree, would it damage the tree or the fruit? Thanks.
    A
Suspend SC will not damage the tree or the apples.  However, if you are going to harvest the apples you should wash them just to be safe before consuming. It would be best to not spray on a windy day where there would be a possibility of getting the Suspend SC on the apples.

    Q
Can Suspend SC be used in paint as a treatment for carpenter bees?
If so, how much is added to 5 gallon of paint?
    A
No. Suspend SC can only be applied using a hand pump sprayer. We do not currently carry any insecticides that can be added to paint.

    Q
    Does Suspend SC kill termites?
    A
Suspend SC will kill a termite if you physically spray the Suspend SC onto a termite.  However, it is not considered a termite treatment product.  Termites eat wood from the inside out, so they are not out in the open to treat.  Also, termites do not crawl on top of the ground like other insects, they enter the home from under the ground.  So just by spraying around your home on top of the ground and on your home, will not protect it against termites.  For proper termite protection, we recommend doing a termite treatment with Dominion 2L.  You should also read our "How to Do a Termite Treatment" article.

    Q
Can I spray Suspend SC on anything inside the house?
I'm trying to get rid of what I am assuming to be bed bugs, but may be some other type of small insect that is biting at night. I am assuming and hoping that this product can get rid of whatever it is. Can I spray Suspend SC on anything inside the house? Where and on what can I spray this product?
    A
Suspend SC can applied to mattresses, especially tufts, folds, and edges until moist. You should also apply to the interior of the frame. Allow to dry before remaking bed.  Also, you would want to treat around the perimeter of the room, baseboards, feet of the bed, etc.  You may want to try one of our Bed Bug Kits which have a variety of products which are proven to treat bed bugs.

    Q
I have small children and want to use Suspend SC for spider control in my home. Is it safe?
    A
Yes, Suspend SC and all of our products are safe as long as you follow the instructions on the product label. When mixed with water, these products are only strong enough to kill small insects. You should keep all children and pets out of the room while you are treating. Use common sense when applying, you obviously do not want to spray on any toys or around pets food and water bowls. Wait 30 minutes for product to dry, then it is perfectly safe for children and pets to re-enter the room.

    Q
Has anyone used Suspend SC to control stinkbugs?
These pests are a big problem in Pennsylvania and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Also, spreading to Maryland and the D.C. area.
    A

Suspend SC is a very popular product for stink bugs and widely used by our customers.  The key to stink bug control is to treat in the fall when the stink bugs normally look for entry into a home.  Even more important is to make sure there are no cracks around windows or under doors.  You should seal all cracks and holes with caulk or other suitable material to prevent entry from stink bugs and other pests during the fall and winter.
