Suspend SC can be used to treat for gnats on houseplants at the mix rate of 0.25 fl oz to 1.5 fl oz per gallon of water howefver the plants should be moved outdoors prior to spraying and allowed to completely dry before bringing them back indoors. Do not spray houseplants indoors.
When spraying the plants, treat all top and bottom surfaces of the leaves, branches and stems till wet but not dripping. Replace any saturated potted soil if needed or allow the soil to dry out will also cut down on the infestation.
Suspend SC is labeled many common household insects and commonly used as a general purpose insecticide treatment indoors when applied along baseboards, around windows, doors, walls, ceilings, corners, and other areas where gnats and other insects have been seen congregating or resting. A systemic granule product like Bonide Systemic Insecticide Granules can be use on the soil for fungus gnat larvae as well.
As long as you keep pets/children out of the area while you treat and until the Suspend SC Insecticide application has had time to completely dry it is safe for pets and people to return and resume normal activity typically after 4-6 hours
If using a fan or cone spray nozzle pattern instead of a pin stream when applying Suspend SC Insecticide, it’s going to provide a wider spray along baseboards, under cabinets, sinks, around windows, etc. This would be fine and in accordance to the product label. If there is any overspray of concern, you can remove this with warm soap/water or normal cleaning practices.
Suspend SC can be applied to ornamental plants, trees, and shrubs as long as you are following the instructions on the product label. This product should not be used on any type of edible vegetation at all. As long as you are following the instructions, this product should not harm your plants.

Spraying Suspend SC in freezing temperatures can cause the product to freeze and not function properly. There should also not be a need to apply it in those temperatures since there is not any insect activity present during those times.
Suspend SC leaves virtually no odor or staining when applied indoors as directed on the product label.
Suspend SC Insecticide can be applied to lawns, landscape beds, etc that are surrounding the pool however should not be hard surfaces such as concrete, decks, patios, etc that border the pool directly. Once treated areas in lawns, landscape beds, etc have dried, it is safe for normal activity around the pool areas even if they were to get wet.

Suspend SC and Talstar P should not be tank mixed together as they have the same modes of action and would hinder results. You would wnat to use one or the other but not both together nor should these be cross treated and applied in the same areas.
A non ionic surfactant can be used with Talstar P to treat for mites per the product label. The Supspend SC product label does not advise or state a Surfactant is required.

Another good option for Camel Crickets would be using Niban Granular Bait as a perimeter band around the foundation, trees, stumps, firewood, or as a scatterbait in localized areas. This can also be used indoors in approved areas on the product label.
Suspend SC can be used in and around flower beds for ants and many other insects. This cannot be used in or around edible gardens.

Depending on where you need to treat, we recommend picking up the food and moving it out of the way before treating with Suspend SC. Once the treated cracks and crevices are all dry, and if the food is in containers or canned, you can put the food back.
