We live in an apartment. We had a severe German roach problem. No off-the-shelf pesticide worked. Talstar P has worked great. It took about 10 days to get rid of most roaches. I still see a roach or two but assume they are crawling from neighbors Great product, best price

I FIRST USED THE GRANULAR VERSION OF THIS PRODUCT AND HAD HORRIBLE RESULTS. SO, I FIGURED I MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING WRONG. THIS TIME AROUND, I PURCHASED THE LIQUID VERSION. SAME EXACT RESULTS. NOTHING. ANT HILLS ALL OVER MY LAWN CONSTANTLY. THIS PRODUCT IS SUPPOSED TO LAST MONTHS AND IT SIMPLY NEVER WORKED PERIOD.

Talstar is the most cost effective solution I've found for Killing Fire Ant mounds. With a simple 2-gal sprayer I can destroy a mound with a single treatment. Saturate the mound with about a 1-quart of (1oz-1gal of H2O) solution and move on to the next mound. GREAT STUFF.....

After fighting these pesky little rascals and them almost driving my little eightyfive year old mother insane I found Talstar P at DoMyOwnPestControl. What a lifesaver! It works great, easy to use, and what I like most it is pet friendly. One of the best products I have found for stinkbugs and all other insects also. Thanks DMOPC.

Just got Talstar for the first time, took about an hour to cover the front and back yards after mixing plus laid a layer in most of the house! Going to get rid of scorpions once and for all here in AZ! Going to stock up on this product and use it every couple of months!! AAAAA+++++

This stuff works great! We use it as a mound treatment in a 25 gallon pull behind sprayer. Soak the mounds about every 6 months, we have around 25 acres we treat in Alabama the ant capital! The most effective and economical product we have used.

I ordered Talstar P about 2 weeks ago. Not only did I receive my order in record time, but the product must be doing a great job. I haven't seen one insect sense using Talstar P. I would highly recommend this product. Doug

I live in an area where the ants are relentless, Talstar P controls the ants very effectively. By far, the BEST product I have ever used! Shipping however, took 14 days. I was not in a hurry, but generally speaking, most items I purchase online arrive within 5 days. 14 days just seems extremely long.

A major pest control company has serviced my home for over a year. And for over a year their results have been 'okay' at best. Two applications tho the exterior of the home per the directions on the package, and I have not seen any pest what so ever. Hmmm, I wonder if I'll ever miss seeing a house centipede?

For those of you that like bugs, skip this review. For the rest, this is the easiest and most effective formula we have used to take care of bugs for the summer! We may need a second application in the fall but we do not get ants, spiders or anything else after we use this.

Got this to fight off mosquitoes in Florida. I would say i didn't notice any diffidence. I don't live next to water so you can't say i lost the battle before it started. For what i care most reviews are fake as this product.

I have purchased Talstar P for the last 7+ years from Do My Own Pest Control. This stuff works exactly as stated, plus when applying there is no offensive odor like most other pesticides. I highly recommend this product. I have a very small yard and apply twice in the summer. No more fire ants, plus kills 72 pests listed.

The product was purchased to eliminate an invasion of grasshoppers. I must say, upon using a sprayer, the whole yard and around the base of the house was covered. Within minutes they started dying. When others happen to venture into a sprayed area they are soon eliminated. This is a wonderful product.

A friend told me about it, I went online and bought it. I spayed the trees around my house and my yard. I,am surrounded by water most of the time. I sit on my deck in shorts and not get bit. Best product i ever bought, will by again.

I would highly recommend this product.This is the very same chemical that Orkin uses. I know because I had them spray my home 5 years ago and made a list of what they used. Phantom is another good choice also. It's kill rate is very effective on a wide spectrum of insects.

I used Talstar (Bifenthrin) as a licensed applicator. It is the Industry Standard here in Florida. Great for all insect pests in the garden and lawn. I create a barrier around the home, maybe three feet into the mulch beds and up the foundation and around window casings and eaves. Just be responsible and avoid standing under the mist (eaves for wasps, etc.) and use low pump pressure so that you aren't creating a fogging effect that you can walk into. I don't spray flowering plants (read the label).

Received product on time. The on-line information about the product was helpful. I gathered the information prior to purchase. The product killed or ran away everything that crawled in my yard. I let it dry as defined in the documentation before letting my pets out in the yard. Since I was treating for multiple types of bugs I went with the recommendation for the treatment with the highest concentration. Make sure your sprayer has a fine mist all the way to a long stream to cover all areas. Like the eaves of the roof where spiders are. Going to do my house next. Highly recommend the product and the company.

I purchased this with Archer IGR and Excite R. I have applied this four times this season and have yet to see a mosquito. I used to pay a company for this service but after watching them and how little effort it took them I decided to do this myself. My yard used to be a mosquito playground. For application, I used one ounce of each for every gallon of water and I combined the items in my Stihl SR450 Backpack Sprayer A word on the sprayer...this is a must in my opinion. Doing this with out a powered sprayer will be messy and and take much longer and a back sprayer can be used for so many different things. I installed a pressure pump kit on my sprayer (took about 10 min) to ensure I could spray at higher levels to get under the leaves on trees. During the applications, I set the power sprayer on .8 which produces a fine mist. I spray around the perimeter of my home and around the perimeter of my yard. No bugs, no mosquitos, no nada. I am also careful around my garden and avoid spraying anyhere near it. I think the supply I purchased will last two years and each application takes me about 20 minutes to complete. Well worth it considering what I used to pay to have it done. If you are going to use this or any chemicals, I recommend waterproof clothing, gloves, face mask and googles.

I’ve been using Talstar P for over a year now, and it’s hands-down the most effective general-purpose insecticide I’ve tried. Living in Texas, we deal with everything from ants and roaches to spiders and mosquitoes—and this handles them all. I mix it according to the label instructions and apply it around the perimeter of my home and in problem areas inside. Within 24 hours, I notice a dramatic drop in insect activity. We had enormous infestation of grasshoppers and they were eating everything in site. We had just planted 70 trees along our driveway and they were shreding everything, even eating the bark on the young branches. We sprayed this product on the trees and we have not seen any on the trees in 2 weeks and most of the trees are starting to put out new growth.

I just applied this two weeks ago...it is hard to tell yet if it has worked. But i must say the service from this company is really terrific...ordered..had it within three days. Great service. If this stuff works on my chinchbugs...I am certain I will be back to purchase mote ir something else. Like I said ..the service was really exceptional. Thanks!

Becoming the "Exterminator" couldn't be easier thanks to the Do My Own insecticide. The water to solution ratio is clearly explained in the user guide and the bottle also has nifty built-in solution measuring guide. I haven't seen a bug around my house (That's if you don't count the dead ones haha) since I have sprayed. Hands down, the most economical and effective insecticide out there.

This product works for just about all pest. I apply it around the base of my foundation and in all my shrubs and flower beds with a Stihl blower/sprayer. I even spray it in my lawn forming a barrier to my house. This products kills fleas, ticks, ants, spiders, roaches and most importantly mosquitoes. I apply it about every 5 weeks and my yard stays mosquito free.

Knocks back the spiders in a day We had a nasty problem with spider webs blocking our back door and stairs to our boat dock. Since I had some Talstar around for termite treatment, I tried spraying a dilute solution around the door, stairs and most importantly in the metal channels of the dock frame. Webs did not return the next morning and have stayed gone for about 3 months now.

There is ONE Important thing to remember when using this product, Follow the directions. I come from the school where "this much is good, alot more is better." Not so with this product. The good people that produce Talstar are very knowledgeable and safety conscience towards their customers. Take notice of the fill lines at the top of the bottom. This product rid, the sprayed area, of stink buds, mosquitos, etc. Probably the best and most effective product I used.

After reading all the great reviews I decided to use Talstar P for my spotted lantern fly infestation they were in the nymph stage. I also had a big issue with mosquitos and gnats in my backyard. I can't say enough great things about this product. It took two treatments and my backyard is bug free! I usually don't leave reviews but this is such a great product it was a must.

I bought this for mosquitos here in Houston tx are so bad! I sprayed as instructed and right after we had heavy rain 2 x, I was not impressed, there were mosquitoes everywhere. I was very disappointed. After rain we sprayed again and this time omg they are gone. I was outside yesterday most of the day and no bite. I could not be happier! Thank you!

Terribly disappointed with this product. From all the raving reviews about how this is the one product that kills most all bugs including springtails, I was confident I had made the right purchase. Well literally 20 minutes after spraying the exterior of my home with the finished solution, the springtails not only came back, they walked right through the solution! 3 hours after spray, it appears that my problem has got even worse! Tons of them all over the house.

Because Talstar P is a residual product, it may take 30 minutes or more to kill individual insects because of the mode of action. Springtails are an extremely prolific pest that can be quite difficult to treat. To fully eradicate them, you will need to identify and eliminate the moisture source that is causing an ideal situation where they can breed. This is the only thing I've found (available to most homeowners) that will control spiders. Once a year, I spray it at the base of the outside walls of the house and other structures, around the outside of windows and doors, in the nooks and crannies of the patio lattice, around the security cameras, and underneath all of the patio furniture. Few spiders for the entire next year. I use PPE, and wouldn't recommend spraying inside a dwelling.

I've been using Bayer advanced home pest control for years, they are fine, and does the job most of the time, but Talstar P is basically better in almost every way. It is more effective, much cheaper, less than $0.5/gal vs $7/gal. Since I am not a professional, I can't comment on its effectiveness of killing the toughest bugs, but I do know it does a good job keeping silverfish, ants, and roaches away from my house.
