Talstar gets the job done. Most effective in eliminating scorpions, roaches and pesky ants.  Nothing else is as effective.

Made first application about 30 days ago. Zero signs of spiders, silverfish or any other insect for that matter since treatment. My pet has shown NO sign of Talstar affecting her health. Even my outdoor ant population appears to have been decreased greatly. I used 1.5 oz. with two gallons of water. Pretty much in line with use chart. Lightly sprayed all interior baseboards and edges of enclosed garage. Outside use was along bottoms of all first floor windows, bottom edge of vinyl siding, vents and on and around three separate porches. I expect this purchase to be a very economical and successful approach to DIY home insect pest control.

I use Talstar P for all applications: spraying around foundations for termites, lawn pests, etc. it is very effective against Lantern Flys. Most of all, very safe for most plants and shrubs

So far it's working great ! Less and less bugs everyday I will say though ... It was hard finding a spray bottles to mist it . It was to thick but we made it work .

I have purchased this product for the second time and it really works. I mist every other week and after two applications, I can space out the application time to every three to four weeks. Buy it!

Don't kill fleas very fast but most other insects kills lstantly including wasp. Good stuff.

Most effective fire ant killer. Don't see mounds near treated mounds meaning it kills them not relocates them.

I got great service from DoMyOwnPestControl, the product arrived early in perfect shape. Talstar One is based on Bifenthrin which is a pyrethroid insecticide that affects the nervous system of insects. It is a great general insecticide that will kill most insect in and around your yard including termites. Bifenthrin is virtually insoluble in water with a solubility of 0.1 mg/L. Given its low solubility, bifenthrin has high persistence in soil with a half life between 7 days and 8 months. It is the longest residual termiticide currently registered on the market today. Talstar One is highly toxic to fish since it is also an ATPase inhibitor. Aquatic vertebrates are much more sensitive to ATPase inhibitors than terrestrial vertebrates due to their high dependence on ATP synthesis in the gills to maintain osmotic balance. Talstar One is also toxic to most dogs and pets until it dries. For yard treatment where animals are kept, I would not let them back in the area for at least 12 to 24 hours. For Treatment I would cover your skin, wear eye protection from mist or slash and wear a certified respirator during application. I wear a heavy shirt with rubber gloves that goes up to my shoulders and jean. Once complete, just for safety, I take a shower after the treatment. It is a great product, I use it once a month on my yard with great results, but remember this is a commercial grade product with 7.9% of Bifenthrin and must be treats with much more safety than low grade chemicals from Walmart or Home Depot.

The product is great. The container is a little funky when the bottle is full. Most likely operator error. I would buy Talstar again especially from domyown.

This is the most effective devastating ant killer. Just purchased my 3rd container. Use it in 4.5 acre back field. Highly recommend.

Hit and miss. Sprayed yard and still get mosquitoes. Not as bad after spraying, but it does not keep them all away.

didn't get rid of all the insects but got most of them. Still got some aquarium bugs getting in the house.Not that many so far.

I have been using Talstar P for about 5 years now and I will never use anything else because this works so well on most everything that crawls or flies. It even kills wasps and yellow jackets, it's not instantaneous, but it will kill the nest. I originally bought Talstar to get rid of scorpions. It does a great job of keeping them out of the house as long as you apply every three months around the perimeter of the house out about two to three feet from foundation. I also spray a bead along all the baseboards inside the house. So far, I have very,very few bugs of any kind in the house. This also works in the yard on fire ants. We have inside pet birds and it has had no ill effect on them, I use very low tank pressure to keep any type of mist to a minimum when spraying inside. Great stuff!!

This product was recommended for use with a mister to protect against mosquitoes and it does an outstanding job. On first application it rained about 10 minutes after I finished and thought that I would be doing it all over again in a very short while. I did not have to mist my yard and surrounding areas for almost 30 days.

I have been using Talstar for several years. I cover about an acre keeping Fire Ants, Mole Crickets, and Web Worms out of a beautiful Bermudagrass lawn. Nothing works better.
