Ongoing drywood war- trying another weapon

Just purchased and am using to treat drywood infestation inside door casing and into the rough opening framing. Pros: Application gun is very easy to use and the application tubes are small diameter which beats having to make large holes like with Jecta. The fine powder, per the videos, should do a good job and I like the fact that they say the termites will carry the powder back to the main colony. I also like, especially from an appearance standpoint, that I can do 24" spaced holes vs. every 8" for foams/gels. I like not having to use a heavy, sticky liquid like BoraCare and the intense pump sprayer cleanup. Lastly, unlike liquids/foam/gels, the application gun puts out just enough air pressure that it pushed-out frass from a little space I had not noticed on the door frame, and then I also saw the Taurus micropowder coming out of another almost invisible hole so that told me the powder really did flow inside the galleries. Hoping for the best. Cons: You have to frequently tap the jar as powder can clog the uptake port. Not a huge deal- just be aware- it's not a dying battery or pump. Lastly, the cost for the little refill jars is jaw-dropping when you consider spending the same money for BoraCare and getting many gallons of mix. I'm really hoping this device and micropowders delivers or I will stop buying the powders until they price at about $75.00 for four. The little jars do not last long at all. I was able to do just a few 5-20 second blasts. I'll update my review if this works, but will be hard-pressed to give it five stars until the cost of the four tiny jars comes down significantly. $155 for four little lip gloss sized jars that last about 30-40 seconds each is not doing me any favors- that's what a termite technician would charge in my area for treating the same area. (A singled door casing and a few adjacent studs, sill plates, headers.
