    How long before rain does Tempo SC Ultra have to be applied to still be effective?
    We sprayed yesterday and it rained a few hours later. How long does it have to be before it rains for the spraying to be most effective?
    A
    Tempo SC Ultra needs to have at least 4 hours to dry properly before the rain happens. This product holds up very well in the rain. If it rained before the product had enough time to dry, it is possible that it may not be as effective.

    Will Tempo SC hurt my fish or my dog?

    Yes, 

    Tempo SC Ultra like any other insecticide can be very lethal to fish.  It would be advised to apply the product on a day that is not windy, and possibly even holding up a sheet of plastic on the other side of where you are spraying to protect overspray from going towards the pond.  Also, apply on a day when it is not going to rain so the product has time to dry and bond to its surface so it does not run off.  As far as your dog, this product is very safe to use around children and pets such as dogs or cats.  Just make sure to allow the product to dry before letting the dog or children back into the yard or wherever you are spraying.

    Can Tempo SC Ultra be used on vegetation?

    Yes, Tempo SC Ultra can be used on certain vegetation. Turf grasses and ornamental plants are specified on the product label. Edible vegetation cannot be treated with Tempo SC Ultra.

    Will Tempo SC Ultra work on termites?

    Tempo SC Ultra has a very limited use for termites. According to the Tempo SC Ultra product label: This type of application is intended to be a supplemental treatment for control of drywood and above ground subterranean termites and other wood-infesting insects.     Can I use tempo Sc Ultra on fruit trees post harvest or on new trees that are years from bearing
    I understand about edible vegiatation

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to be used on any fruit trees at all no matter the timing. We do carry another product called Bayer Advanced Vegetable and fruit spray which contains the same active ingredient Cyfluthrin but in a different formulation which allows it to be used on edible vegetation.

    Tempo SC Ultra will leave a residual of about 4 weeks outdoors and about 3 months indoors. Be sure to read and follow the product label to be sure you are using the correct concentration in the areas you need to treat.

    Is Tempo SC Ultra safe For Garden Vegetables and Plants
    I sprayed Tempo on some of our Green Beans growing in our garden to try and kill the Grasshopper invasion we were getting. Will the vegetables be safe to eat after being sprayed with tempo?? Is there are certain amount of time we must wait before eating them?

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to applied to edible vegetation. We apologize, but we cannot advised for you to eat anything that has been sprayed wit Tempo SC Ultra. You could use a product like Cyonara lawn, Yard and Garden spray to treat for grasshoppers in the garden.

    The label says Tempo SC Ultra should NOT be used inside a residence. Should I not apply it?

    Tempo SC Ultra in the 32mL size should NOT be applied in a residential area but the Tempo SC Ultra in the 240mL or 900mL bottle can be diluted and applied as directed on the label for inside and outside residential areas.

    Once bedbugs come in contact with Tempo SC ultra how long does it take to kill them?

     Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to kill bed bugs. Our bedbug kits come with all top of the line products that are available on the market today, along with instructions to follow. When applied properly, our kits have a very high success rate. We recommend reading our article on How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs for more information on a treatment program using the products and non-chemical efforts.

    Will Tempo SC Ultra kill fleas in carpet?
    A
    While Tempo SC ultra is labeled for the control of fleas and would kill a flea that came into contact with a treated surface, it is only labeled to be used in cracks an crevices indoors. It cannot and should not be sprayed across carpets as a broadcast for flea control inside. You can use it as a broadcast for fleas outdoors and mix it at the rate of 8ml to a gallon of water. For treating the inside of the home for fleas, we would recommend our Indoor Flea Kit, which comes with a dust to use to get the fleas deep in the base of your carpets and crevices, as well as a broadcast spray that will not only kill, but stop the reproductive cycle of the fleas.     Does Tempo work for wasp control?

    Tempo is actually one of the top products we recommend for wasp control as well as many other pest in the "stinging pest" category. It is safe to be used in a range of areas and will help keep the population down around your home. If you want to treat a nest directly-whether in the ground or hanging-the Tempo Dust would be more appropriate for the specific application, and use the Tempo SC Ultra for the residual control on the surfaces around that they land on.

    Will it Tempo SC Ultra kill ants?

    Yes, Tempo SC Ultra will treat for ants. However, Tempo SC Ultra will only kill the ants that come in contact with the treated area. You want to use something that the foraging ants will pick up and carry back to the colony like Bait. We have put together the Complete Ant kit that attracts both sweet and protein feeding ants.

    I bought tempo sc ultra, is it supposed to kill roaches on contact?
    If it doesn't kill on contact do I need to try a different product?

    The Tempo SC Ultra is not a contact kill and normally if you are having a roach problem you do not want a contact kill. Contact kill products only kill the roaches that you hit directly with the product when its wet, and after the product has dried it wont have any affect on other pests. The Tempo will affect any roach that comes into contact with a treated surface, even after the product is dry. You should only spray it once every 30 days for control. If you are having a heavy roach infestation, look over our article How To Get Rid of Roaches for helpful details, hints and product recommendation for controlling the colony the fastest way to eliminate them for good at the source.     We do not recommend mixing any type of herbicide with insecticide. Each contain different properties that could degrade the effectiveness of the active ingredients.

    What's the difference between Tempo SC Ultra and Suspend SC?
    I've skimmed through both product labels and looked online and can't seem to find much of a difference between the two. I purchased the pint of Suspend SC last year and just purchased the Tempo SC ULtra and was surprised to find that it's only 8 oz. (That's my fault for not looking at the size before I ordered) I was wondering what the difference between the two is though, since the Tempo costs twice what the Suspend does. I'm using the product to treat mainly for scorpions. Thank you for any info!

    Tempo SC Ultra contains beta-Cyfluthrin 11.8%, whereas Suspend SC contains Deltamethrin 4.75%. These active ingredients are different, which affects the rate at which you would dilute them before application. Tempo SC Ultra may come in a smaller bottle than Suspend SC, but you need half as much to mix in a gallon of water. Tempo SC is diluted .5 oz (16mL) to 1 gallon of water and Suspend SC is diluted 1 oz to 1 gallon of water. They are both great for general insecticides, but are different in their makeup.

    Tempo SC Ultra has no odor, is non-staining, and has a long lasting residual of up to 3 months. Tempo SC Ultra is also safe for children and pets, after the treated area has dried. Dry time varies, but should take approx. 1-2 hours.

    Does Tempo SC Ultra work for the elimination of ticks in the yard and in the house?
    They seem to be immune to the products.

    Yes, Tempo SC Ultra is labeled to kill ticks. It is recommended that you use an IGR (insect growth regulator) as well to stop the ticks from producing. Archer IGR is an excellent IGR that is photostable for up to 14 days so it works in direct sunlight. It will work for up to 7 months. For your first treatment, you will use Tempo SC Ultra and Archer IGR. The next treatment will be 14 days later with the Tempo SC Ultra only. You will do supplemental treatments as needed after the first two treatments.
