    Q
Tempo Ultra vs Temprid SC for scorpions
Which product would you recommend for interior scorpion control?
    A
Both products work great for scorpions. We would recommend Temprid as it contains the same active ingredient as Tempo plus, another active ingredient promoting a transfer kill.

    Q
Can I use Tempo SC Ultra in my home safely with an asthmatic child?
    A
Tempo SC Ultra is safe to use indoors. We would not recommend spraying it when anyone but the applicator is in the room. Once the product is dry, it is safe for anyone to return to the area. If there is a concern for smell, we would recommend opening windows or turning on fans. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  • Asked by Kevin from Idabel, Ok
    09/28/2014
    Q
Should I expect them to be gone instantly?
We have two cats, but they never go outdoors. This last week we suddenly had a house full of fleas. Followed the instructions for Tempo precisely just last night. Not only are they not gone, but they seem almost just as rampant. Shouldn't they be gone by now? Ideas, anyone? Thank you.
    A
Tempo is a great product, but since you cannot apply as a broadcast, we do not necessarily recommend it for fleas. Please review our Flea control page. We recommend using our Indoor Flea Control kit. This kit contains two cans of Alpine Aerosol which is one of the safest professional grade flea sprays for use indoors and was recently classified as a reduced risk product by the EPA. It provides excellent control of fleas and contains an IGR as well, which prevents adult fleas from being able to lay eggs, eventually halting the flea reproductive cycle.  You'll also get two bottles of CimeXa Dust which is a safe, odorless, non-staining dust that is perfect for spreading on carpets, floor coverings, in cabinets, under furniture cushions, and other areas where fleas tend to harbor.  As fleas come into contact with CimeXa, the dust literally dries the fleas out causing eventual death.  These two products together create a powerful double punch providing excellent, safe and lasting indoor flea control.

You will have to wait one complete growing season after treating your soil with Tempo SC Ultra. Per the manufacturer, it would not be safe to plant tomatoes in the spring if you sprayed sometime this year.

    Q
Does Tempo SC Ultra kill flea eggs specifically? And is there a product Tempo Ultra SE or just SC?

Tempo SC Ultra will kill the adult fleas. We would recommend using  Archer IGR (insect growth regulator). This will stop the fleas from reproducing. There is no product called Tempo Ultra SE.

  • Asked by Denise from Cascade, Wi
    09/30/2014
    Q
How long before rain does Tempo SC Ultra have to be applied to still be effective?
We sprayed yesterday and it rained a few hours later. How long does it have to be before it rains for the spraying to be most effective?
    A
Tempo SC Ultra needs to have at least 4 hours to dry properly before the rain happens. This product holds up very well in the rain. If it rained before the product had enough time to dry, it is possible that it may not be as effective.

  • Asked by Maribel from Rio Hondo Tx

    Q
How fast does Tempo SC Ultra work on roaches?
How fast does it work on roaches???
    A

Tempo SC Ultra could take a while to work because it is a residual product. It will provide a faster knockdown because it does contain two active ingredients that work together.

When combating roaches, we would recommend using Gentrol IGR (insect growth regulator) to stop the roaches from reproducing.

  • Asked by Karen from Delray Beach, florida
    10/03/2014
    Q
Does Tempo SC Ultra work for the elimination of ticks in the yard and in the house?
They seem to be immune to the products.
    A
Yes, Tempo SC Ultra is labeled to kill ticks. It is recommended that you use an IGR (insect growth regulator) as well to stop the ticks from producing. Archer IGR is an excellent IGR that is photostable for up to 14 days so it works in direct sunlight. It will work for up to 7 months. For your first treatment, you will use Tempo SC Ultra and Archer IGR. The next treatment will be 14 days later with the Tempo SC Ultra only. You will do supplemental treatments as needed after the first two treatments.

  • Asked by Dave from Ripon Wi 54071
    11/06/2014
    Q
Is it safe to use Tempo SC Ultra for fleas inside the house? Will it harm anything in the house?
If not how much Tempo SC Ultra per 2 gallons of water?
    A
Tempo SC Ultra should NOT be used for flea control indoors! We would recommend our Indoor Flea Kit as the items in this kit are safe and effective for indoor flea treatments. The Indoor Flea Kit is designed to treat the interiors of homes, apartments, and similar areas with existing flea infestations. The Alpine Flea Insecticide with IGR Aerosol can be used on most floor surfaces and pet bedding, while the CimeXa Dust can be applied to carpets, other floor coverings, and in cracks and crevices where fleas may harbor. Both products are extremely low risk to pets and people and can, therefore, be used in sensitive treatment areas. The Indoor Flea Kit is safe, ready-to-use, and does not require additional application equipment. This kit is designed to treat areas up to 2,000 square feet.
