It is recommended that you stay out of the treated area for 1-2 hours after applying Tempo SC Ultra. Once the product has dried completely, it is safe for individuals to return to the area.
It sounds like the wasps may be in the ground under the table rather than on the table itself, unless you can see a specific place where there is a small nest on or under the table. We would not recommend using any insecticide where you sit or eat on a picnic table. Tempo SC Ultra would be a great choice for the ground around the table. You can also use a knockdown spray such as Wasp Freeze to spray flying, stinging insects in the immediate area as you see them.
We recommend rotating Tempo SC Ultra between insecticides at least once a year to prevent resistance issues. There is a variety of products you can rotate to, Temprid SC, Suspend Polyzone, Talstar P, and Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide, just to name a few.
