Is Tempo SC Ultra safe to use around someone on oxygen?
    A

We would not recommend spraying insecticides while other people, children, or pets are in the immediate area, especially anyone with sensitive health concerns. Tempo SC Ultra is labeled to be used in hospitals as a spot or crack and crevice treatment, but the label does not specify patient rooms. We recommend consulting your physician regarding what is appropriate. You can view the Safety Data Sheet here.

    Q
How long does it take flies to die after spraying Tempo SC Ultra?

  • Asked by Mc from Ellensburg, Wa
    05/30/2018
    Q
After I spray Tempo, should I expect to see spiders emerge?
I sprayed inside and outside of my house one week ago, and since then I have seen more spiders in the house than ever before.
    A

You will still see insects including spiders after applying Tempo SC Ultra as it is not a repellent meant to keep them away.  It is designed to leave a long residual that will continue to kill insects that contact a treated surface.  After application you may notice an increase in activity as they are able to detect something has been applied and may be more irritated.  It can be applied once a month outside and once every 90 days outside.

  • Asked by Miranda from Marlow, Ok
    06/15/2018
    Q
What is the difference between the Tempo SC Ultra and Tempo Ultra WP?
    A

Tempo SC Ultra is a  concentrated water based liquid insecticide that will need to be mixed with water. Tempo Ultra WP is a wettable powder that is also mixed with water. Both products contain the same active ingredient and will provide similar results. Tempo Ultra WP will do a better job on porous surfaces as it will stay on the surface and be more available to insects. Tempo SC Ultra, on the other hand, will dry clear and will not leave behind the powdery residue that Tempo Ultra WP can.

  • Asked by Jorge from Chicago, Il
    06/18/2018
    Q
Tempo SC Ultra vs Demon WP for springtail control, is one better than the other?
    A

Demon WP Insecticide and Tempo SC Ultra are both very effective insecticides and while they may kill springtails that come in contact with a treated area, neither are specifically labeled for springtails. We would recommend using Talstar P as your perimeter spray and we also suggest incorporating a granules like Demand G Granules. Eliminating springtails can take time. Springtails indicate that there is a moisture issue because they breed in walls or under slabs where a moisture issue may exist. Typically, pesticides alone will not take care of a springtail problem. It is required to fix whatever moisture issue is causing the problem. You should read our "How To Get Rid of Springtails" article for further information.
