You will still see insects including spiders after applying Tempo SC Ultra as it is not a repellent meant to keep them away. It is designed to leave a long residual that will continue to kill insects that contact a treated surface. After application you may notice an increase in activity as they are able to detect something has been applied and may be more irritated. It can be applied once a month outside and once every 90 days outside.

Tempo SC Ultra is a concentrated water based liquid insecticide that will need to be mixed with water. Tempo Ultra WP is a wettable powder that is also mixed with water. Both products contain the same active ingredient and will provide similar results. Tempo Ultra WP will do a better job on porous surfaces as it will stay on the surface and be more available to insects. Tempo SC Ultra, on the other hand, will dry clear and will not leave behind the powdery residue that Tempo Ultra WP can.
Any edibles treated/sprayed with Tempo SC Ultra should be discarded. You should NOT consume them. Tempo SC Ultra should be applied 15 ft away from edible vegetation.
Demon WP Insecticide and Tempo SC Ultra are both very effective insecticides and while they may kill springtails that come in contact with a treated area, neither are specifically labeled for springtails. We would recommend using Talstar P as your perimeter spray and we also suggest incorporating a granules like Demand G Granules. Eliminating springtails can take time. Springtails indicate that there is a moisture issue because they breed in walls or under slabs where a moisture issue may exist. Typically, pesticides alone will not take care of a springtail problem. It is required to fix whatever moisture issue is causing the problem.
