    Tempo SC Ultra does not contain anything that repel mice or any other animal. Tempo Sc Ultra is strictly an insecticide that is formulated to kill insects. We do carry a few rodent repellents such as Detour for Rodents, EVAC Rodent Repellent, and Detour Roadblocks for Rodents.

    Does tempo SC Ultra kill scorpions?

    Yes, Tempo SC Ultra would be a good choice for scorpion control. Be sure to spray all of the areas where scorpions can harbor outdoors such as rock beds, landscaping timbers, rock walls around the bottom of the foundation, window frames, door frames, and places where other insects (the scorpions food source) harbor.

    Can I spray Tempo around Hosta plants without damage?

    Tempo SC Ultra is known to be very gentle on plants when used as directed on the product label. That being said we always recommend that you test a new product on one or two plants before you spray them all just to be safe.

    Can Tempo SC Ultra be put in a pull behind tank sprayer?
    I have a pull behind tank sprayer that I use for liquid fertilizer. Can I mix and use the Tempo in this? Also if i do not use all that I mixed can I leave it in the tank sprayer to use approx. 3 months later ? I didn't know if it looses its effectiveness if it would sit mixed for any length of time?

    You can apply Tempo SC Ultra using a pull behind tank sprayer. You should only mix what you can use at one time as you cannot leave Tempo sitting in a diluted solution for more than a day or two.

    Can I use Tempo SC on petunias? Will it effect hummingbirds if they come to the treated plant?

    Tempo SC Ultra is quite gentle on plants but we always recommend that you test the product on just one plant before you spray them all. Tempo SC should not harm hummingbirds as long as you apply it when they are not actively foraging in the area.

    How should you handle Tempo SC Ultra?
    My landlord gave me a bottle of tempo sc ultra to treat a bedbug problem in our Apt. My boyfriend has gone crazy with the stuff. Spraying every few day's in hopes of getting rid of the problem. I am worried for our safety breathing it in all the time.

    Tempo SC Ultra should not be used any more often than every 7 days for bedbug control. We have linked the Tempo SC Ultra product label in this answer so you and your partner can learn how to use the product properly. Tempo SC Ultra is labeled only to use as a crack and crevice spray around the perimeter of the room. It is not labeled to be used on mattresses, furniture or other items that will be coming in prolonged skin contact. When Tempo SC Ultra is being applied only the applicator should be in the room. Everyone can return to the space after the application has dried and the room has been vented.  Over use of a product can cause insects to become resistant to the chemical you are using so care should be taken to follow the product label instructions.

    Red Mites all over my patio
    I have what looks like a major infestion of tiny red spider mites all over my patio. I get them every spring and have been trying to figure out what can kill them so that i can use my patio during the spring time. I heard TEMPO kills them on contact? Any help would be apprecited.

    Tempo SC Ultra would be a good choice for spider mites control on your patio. You should note that synthetic pyrethroids like the one contained in Tempo SC Ultra does not offer an instant kill but will eliminate insects within a few hours of contact.

    Can I use Tempo Sc Ultra in my yard??
    I have problems with spiders, ants and ticks in my yard and was wondering if its safe to spray. I do have kids that love playing in the yard and I want them to be safe. I plan on spraying the whole yard. and how long does it take to dry.

    Does Tempo SC Ultra kill roaches?
    A
    Tempo SC Ultra would be a great choice to use as part of a roach control program. We also recommend using a roach bait gel and an insect growth regulator along with the Tempo SC Ultra to get rid of a roach infestation. A roach bait gel such as the Advion Roach Bait Gel can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. An Insect Growth Regulator such as  Gentrol Point Source stations provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait and a quality insecticide is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals.

    Will Tempo SC Ultra work on termites?

    Tempo SC Ultra has a very limited use for termites. According to the Tempo SC Ultra product label: This type of application is intended to be a supplemental treatment for control of drywood and above ground subterranean termites and other wood-infesting insects.     Why cant I buy Tempo SC in New York?
    A
    It has nothing to do with us.  It is a New York specific law that prevents us from shipping certain products to New York.  These are products defined by the New York government that they do not want homeowners using because they are professional products.  We do have a link to New York products that are permissible for us to ship.

    Can I use Tempo SC Ultra in hamster or guinea pig cages?
    I have problems with roaches getting into their food. I think the hamsters are eating them, but I usually find a couple roaches in the guinea pig cage. When I clean the guinea pig cage, can I spray it, let it dry, and then add clean hay/bedding?

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled for use in animal cages. We recommend that instead of spraying the cages that you treat the areas surrounding the cages to kill the roaches before they enter the cages. You can also add an Insect Growth regulator such as Gentrol IGR to the Tempo SC Ultra to help break the infestation cycle. Keeping the cages and the areas around the cages very clean will also help to get rid of the roaches.
