Is Temprid SC labeled for bedbugs?
    A

Yes, Temprid SC is labeled for Bed Bug control.  Please see the supplemental label link under the product picture on the Temprid SC page on our website for more information. Q
Can I mix Temprid SC with Gentrol and Demand CS?
    A
Temprid SC can be mixed with Gentrol IGR for control of many insects. We would not recommend mixing Temprid with Demand CS. Since they both have synthetic pyrethroids as active ingredients, it would most likely not improve efficacy. Temprid SC would be a great choice if you would like to use dual active ingredients as it contains two active ingredients, Imidacloprid 21% and Beta-Cyfluthrin 10.5%.

    Q
Is Temprid SC a repellent or non-repellent like Phantom and Termidor SC?
    A
Temprid SC has beta-cyfluthrin in it which is not a non-repellent product.  It is a repellent insecticide.  However, repellent these days does not mean the insect can sense that it is there and avoids the area.  The insect actually walks over the barrier and gets the insecticide on its tiny microscopic hairs on its body and eventually dies.

    Q
How many gallons of spray will a 400 ML bottle of Temprid SC make?
    A
Temprid SC can be mixed at a lower concentration of 8 ml per gallon of water and a higher concentration of 16 ml per gallon of water.  There is a total of 400 ml in a bottle. So at a lower concentration of 8 ml per gallon of water, Temprid SC will make 50 gallons of finished solution.  If you mixed all gallons at the higher concentration of 16 ml per gallon of water, you would get 25 gallons of finished solution.

    Q
Can Talstar P and Temprid SC be mixed together and be safely sprayed indoor and outdoors?
    A
There is no valid reason to mix Temprid SC and Talstar P together.  Talstar P is a synthetic pyrethroid and Temprid SC already contains a synthetic pyrethroid, so there would be nothing to gain by mixing these products together. Making a pesticide too strong can actually backfire. Areas that are treated with this overly concentrated spray will be repellent and insects will simply avoid the treated areas prolonging the infestation.

    Q
How do I pour Temprid from the bottle into the measuring cup attached to the bottle?
    A
There is no need to pour Temprid into the measuring container attached to the bottle. Simply squeeze the bottle until you get the correct amount into the measuring side of the bottle and remove the cap and pour into the spray container.

    Q
Does Temprid form "micro-crystals" after it dries?
Similar to Suspend and Tempo SC Ultra?
    A
Most of the residual products leave what some people call micro-crystals.  Temprid does as well.  This is referring to the surface that you apply the product on.  After it dries and you look through a microscope at the surface, it looks like a crystallization is formed on the surface.  This can only be seen of course through a microscope.

    Q
I don't see Bed Bugs listed on the Temprid SC product label ?
I just looked at the product label but I don't see Bed bugs listed anywhere? I purchased Phantom, Alpine Dust, Gentrol and Bedlam last summer, but the bed bugs continued to come back. I called an exterminator this week cause they're back and I can't afford to lose the tenants like I did last summer. They said they were gonna use Temprid, that's what made me come here and check that out. I'd like to use this and see, but I really can't have them keep coming back this summer. I'm hoping this company can do better than I did and get rid of them once and for all.
    A
Temprid SC has a supplemental product label which you can see on the Temrpid SC product page on our website or by clicking here: supplemental product label. This label specifically deals with bedbugs and how to use Temprid SC for bedbug treatments.

    Q
What's the difference between water based and oil based insecticide?
    A
Water based insecticides are the most commonly used insecticides today because they have low or no odor and they usually do not stain. Oil based insecticides are used in cases where the product may need to stay wetter for a longer period of time and they are usually used outdoors to avoid odor issues and staining. Oil based insecticides usually need to be diluted with oil or you must use an additive such as adjuvant to dilute the product in water (always read the product label for proper mixing instructions).

    Q
I read that Temprid SC can make 50 gallons. Is there a smaller bottle available?
50 gallons is an awful lot for people who are just treating their own home. This is probably why Temprid costs so much more than other insecticides. Do the makers of Temprid plan to market a smaller amount, or make an aerosol that would be useful to people who would never use up what is in the bottle they currently sell?
    A
Temprid SC is available in a 240ml bottle. It is also available in a Ready Spray can that is great for homeowners. For a professional that may treat 10 homes in one day, this bottle does not last very long.  You can mix 8 ml per gallon of water or 16 ml per gallon of water for most insect problems. The product has a shelf life of at least 5 years as long as you keep the lid on and keep it out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

    Q
Can I spray Temprid SC on rose bushes to kill Japanese beetles?
    A
Temprid SC is not labeled for turf and ornamental treatment so we cannot recommend it for use on your rose bushes for Japanese beetles.  However, our most popular product for general pest control is Talstar, and it is labeled for indoor and outdoor use like the Temprid SC.  The Talstar though is labeled for lawn and ornamentals as well and is one of our most popular products for Japanese beetle control.  It is perfectly fine to apply Talstar to your rose bushes.

    Q
How many time have to use Temprid SC with in a day?
    A
Temprid SC leaves a residual behind so you should not apply it more than once every 7-10 days for bedbugs and not more than once a month for other insects (the product label does allow you to reapply Temprid SC every 7-10 days for other insects if there is a strong pest pressure). Please take a few moments to read the Temprid SC product label and the Temprid SC supplemental product label so that you can be sure your are using the product correctly.

    Temprid for Brown Recluse
i read an ad for Temprid in a pest control magazine some months back and stated that it is now labeled for Brown Recluse. is there any truth to this?
    A
According to the manufacturer, Bayer, Temprid SC will kill any spider except for tarantulas. We are in the middle of adding the new Temprid SC product label to our website for our customers to review. You will be able to find it on the Temprid SC product page very soon.

    Q
TEMPRID SC MATA LOS HUEVOS DE LAS CHINCHES "BED BUGS" SI NO QUE PRODUCTO PARA MESCLAR LO HACE? GRACIAS
    A

    Q
Do I need a license for Temprid, Exciter, Permethrin, or neporexane?
    A
In most states you do not need a license to use the products on our website if you are using them on your own property. You will need a license if you are treating other people's property for profit. There are some products on our website that are restricted in certain states and if you are in the named state you will not be able to purchase that product. The state restrictions are listed on each individual product page like Temprid.

    Q
Which product should I use for bedbugs, Temprid SC, Demand CS or Cyonara 9.7?
Which product should I use for bed bugs? There are three of them (Cyonara 9.7, Demand CS, and Temprid SC) I can't decide which one is going to work best. Please help me to make decision since you are professionals with this matter.
    A
All three products have an active ingredient that is classified as a synthetic pyrethroid so they really are very similar in the way that they work. Cyonara and Demand share the exact same active ingredient at the exact same concentration so of course they do the same job. Temprid SC is a bit more versatile when it comes to bedbug treatments though as it can be sprayed on mattresses, carpets (spot treat only) and on furniture (crack and crevice only) where neither the Demand nor Cyonara can be applied. We recommend that you do not use a liquid concentrate alone to eliminate bedbugs. Bed bug control has much better success if you use a variety of products.  Our bed bug kits have many products that are considered the top bed bug control products.  Our kits also come with full instructions.  They have a very high success rate with our customers and your best chance of eliminating a bed bug infestation.
