This was my first DoMyOwn.com purchase and I'm impressed: - the product (Tenacity) shipped the same day I ordered and I had it two days later - the cost was competitive - they included the syringe (seems not all merchants do) I've used the Tenacity (with a surfactant & a 1-gallon pump sprayer) once so far spot-treating weeds and it's working well. Turns the weeds white and doesn't kill the grass. I plan to hit the whole lawn in both fall and spring. I had been paying over $400/year for professional treatments on my <4000 sqft lawn and they were using Tenacity to control the weeds. While they did more than just the weeds, having access to the Tenacity and knowing it works on my weeds means I can do all the treatments myself at less than a quarter the annual cost.

First application almost two weeks ago the bentgrass is turning white. (As stated). Going to do a second application this weekend. So far very impressed with this product, seems to be killing only the creeping grass and the other grass is still green. Hope it continues!!

Nutgrass and crabgrass was taking over my yard. As I searched for the right product, I came across Tenacity. It worked excellent. I have centipede and Bermuda grass and it worked fine on both. Even though it specifies not to use on Bermuda, I am planning on redoing my backyard as it is not smooth and I was not very concerned with killing the Bermuda grass. Maybe I was lucky.

I recieved my order very quickly. i was surprised to find this product,and the weeds it controls.It is still cold in Ohio but i'm eager to try Tenacity as I have a big problem with bentgrass. To soon to really rate the product.

This works on mature crabgrass and knocks down Bermuda grass. it is not cheap but goes a long way and gets the job done, also works as a pre emergent. sprayed ground and then planted with rye grass, grass came up great, and no weeds. this is in may in the upstate of SC. will use this again. finally found something that really works. Love the white grass as it works. Planted rye grass (Pinnacle III) on top of the dyeing crabgrass and nicely fills in the bare spot.

USPS had issues over Mothers Day and took 5 days longer than their posted delivery date with no follow up to my email inquiry. Do my own explained, followed up and offered to ship a new if not received by the 5th business day. Even apologized when they saw it delivered, when it wasn't their fault. Rare customer service for these times.

Cool season lawn guy here. This stuff just works. Took me 5 days before the great whitening occured but this stuff is deadly to crabgrass. After two broadcast spray apps it didn't touch my clover that much though. Worth the money regardless. Pull the trigger on this one.

I used 8oz to my acre. In 3 day it started to turn white One time did it but am going to spray a second time would recommend to anyone

I used the Mesotrione on my mom's yard. The Nimblewill was taking over; a nasty weed/grass. From my understanding there are 3 ways to get rid of it. Total vegetation killer, dig down 3-4" and remove it, or use this selective herbicide. The first two options were out of the question. I sprayed the Mesotrione with a pull behind 15 gallon sprayer on a 38,000 sq ft lot. I sprayed it a total of 3 times and it killed at least 80%. Yes, parts of the yard looked very white, that is a good sign. The grass started to fill in those spots occupied by the Nimblewill. Another 2 years of spraying should get rid of the rest. It also helped with crabgrass control. There were large patches of crabgrass in the lower lot. By the end of summer I had those areas still bare and was able to plant grass seed. This is a work in progress. There is no doubt in my mind that I'll see a major improvement come this year.

I put down this herbicide a week and a half ago and have seen results already in terms of evidence of grass and broadleaves dying. I am very satisfied with the results and I'm looking forward to the suppression of crabgrass and other such pernicious weeds.

Tenacity was recommended to prevent and kill nimbkewill in my lawn. Tried it for the first time so I am hoping it will do the job. It turns the weed white but that will subside after a few weeks. Customer service was very helpful and knowledgeable. This product kills only the weed and not the grass around it.

It did a great job killing the bent grass that invaded my yard without killing the regular grass. I also used a surfactant as recommended in the application instructions.

Works great yellow nutsedge started turning white in 6-7 days. Other weeds took 2-3 weeks to see results but it works

Excellent for weed control. It does take about three weeks to turn the weeds white, but then they quickly die off.

Expensive but really works. Nimblewill turning white as advertised. Saves using glyphosate product or hand pulling. Used with hi yield spreader sticker. All in all worth the expense as the desired grasses still growing and taking over.

The label gives the rate per acre but not how to mix for spot spraying. But

Tenacity is the best product on the market works great. Remember follow the correct amount for what you are doing, and dont forget surfactant and laser blue.

Awesome product -- killed all of the crabgrass without harming the regular lawn. Delivery was perfect and about $10 less than Amazon.

Looks like this is going to be my go to application for the lawn for foreseeable future. Crabgrass was first to change color to white (applied on Tuesday, white on Saturday.) Clover definitely taking longer. About to hit the lawn with second app 3 weeks after first to we'll see how that goes, soon thereafter it will be time to do an overseed.

So far so good. I wish I would have purchased this earlier. It doesn't kill my blue grass. And also acts as a pre-emergent. I just put it down yesterday. So time will tell

This was the first time I've used the product and am a believer. I bought this product specifically to treat post-emergent crabgrass. I mixed Tenacity with a surfactant and applied directly to crabgrass and it was completely dead within two to three weeks of application.

First time using Tenacity and have been using it as a post-emergent without a surfactant and have been getting great results. Label says to use a surfactant in post-emergent scenarios, but you don't have to to get results. I thought I'd give Tenacity a try as I've been overseeding with Scott's Start Fert with Weed Control that has Mesotrione in it whihc is the active ingredient in Tenacity. Great product, will continue to use.

I applied Tenacity as recommended with the Hi-Yield spreader sticker on a 20,000 sq/ft lawn. It was turning the crab grass white within days. Tomorrow is the two week mark and over half of my crab grass is already wilted and brown. The remaining has white leaves. Nutsedge seems to be taking longer to die. It's showing a much lighter green than before and some is white. I haven't seen any wilt and die off yet though but I'm confident that it's on the run. I'm thinking about doing a second application to knock out any remaining weedy grasses before I dethatch and over seed this fall. Tenacity is pricey but for how little I need to use to see results it's worth the money in my opinion.

This is the best Herbicide. Works well. I would say wait a week to see the results. Watch the YouTube videos on tenacity if that helps. Highly recommend.

This stuff is amazing! I got it for the unwanted grass and weeds and it works great! I would highly recommend. This is a very good product and now my go to herbicide.

I recently ordered Tenacity herbicide through Amazon and it did not arrive any where close to the promised delivery date. I sent it back and ordered it from DIY. Not only did I receive it promptly it was also significantly cheaper at DIY.
