Graham from Pittsburgh writes

Tenacity timing?

When is the best time for me to apply one or more treatments of Tenacity for preemergent purposes? I am in the immediate Pittsburgh, PA area. Following treatments, I'll want to spot-seed the areas where the Tenacity blasted some annual grasses last summer and fall.

Answer:

Tenacity Herbicide may be applied when soil temperatures are around 55 degrees or higher.  Do not apply when air temperature exceeds 85 degrees.  It is recommended that you wait 2-4 weeks after an application of Tenacity Herbicide to reseed.
