Fipronil (Termidor SC) finally ended a 3-year battle with the crazy ants infesting my summer home. The house is built over a crawl space with a sandy floor. A variety of ant baits and traps failed to control the ants over the first two seasons, and by this summer they were everywhere. Entry trails for the ants going up the sides of the block foundation could be seen, but neither dusting nor spraying with pyrethrins had any lasting effect. In the kitchen, huge swarms of ants would appear a few minutes after anything sweet hit the countertops. I sprayed the entire perimeter walls of the block foundation with Termidor SC at 0.06% strength. All but the kitchen ants disappeared in a few days. Beating the kitchen ants required making openings in the wall cavities from outside the house and spraying inside. I was able to track the ants to multiple nests inside the windowsills of a screened porch- they were following a totally enclosed path into the kitchen. During the infestation, a coffee cup left for a few minutes would attract ants; now the never appear. These ants seem to be everywhere in our warm, wet, sandy environment, but the Termidor barrier is keeping them out of the house.

Great I sprayed all around the house about 2 feet away and 2 feet above the ground. I live in the midst of pecan trees and spayed the trunk and I have not seen any ants. Great product

Working outside under a tent at fairs, festivals and speciality shows exposes us to a wide variety of creepy, crawly critters. This product keeps them at bay, regardless of the type of bug we encounter, from upstate NY to south FL and many locations between. In addition, we use it in and around our camper for bug free living as we travel. One container last us more than two years, making it very economical as well as effective. We highly recommend it to all our friends and associates.

I've bought termidor in 2 different states with no issues, fast delivery. I really like doing this myself and saving $$. Pest control companies are a big ripoff trying to get you into yearly, expensive contracts. I use this for carpenter ants in New England and those tiny ants that raid our home yearly in California.

I had ALOT of ants in my pantry and over the counter ant stakes did not work. It just attracted more ants. I sprayed this around the perimeter of my house and it works for a good year! Much cheaper than a service! Works great

As others have claimed, it works very very well !! I sprayed merely around my house as instructed, there have been "no ants" "no spiders" infact I've not seen anything that crawls ever since! I've been taunted by ants and spiders for years and have tried everything to no avail. (I live in Southern California). I did the same for my tenants and they too are enjoying a peaceful "pest free" summer. So so glad that I have finally found a wonderful effective solution to every year's summer plight.

I've used some many different products trying to get ride of the roaches. A friend recommended me this product and I promise you, it works! I didn't see anything for about 2 months and when we did, we spayed again we don't have any problems. As long as you spray as you are recommended the problem will go away.

BEST PRODUCT OUT THERE. A pest control company told me personaly that if they used this product, they would put themselves out of buisness b/c they would not ever have to re-treat the buildings they treat. I had termites in my own home, applied this product and this year there were only traces of the little buggers left. Excellent product, great customer service from DoMyOwnPestControl. A++++++++

I'm a first time buyer, hope this works .I had to take a wall down to apply Tremidor SC. I followed the directions and I think I will be okay, it will be awhile before we really know if this is working. I had great service-- recieved my order in a couple of days and the price was amazing compared to other places--no shipping charges what a deal. Thanks!!

Used to kill ants and other pests around perimeter of home. Saw many ants foraging on and around our home, carpenter ants, as well as other types starting this spring. Within 3 to 4 days all traces of ant activity are gone! The professional that treats our office building uses this product and it works, need I say more. Completely satisfied with purchase. This whole experience was easy, quickly done, and it worked. I spent hundreds of dollars buying pesticides from Wal-Mart and Lowes that didn't work at all or was just a temporary fix. Termidor SC worked after the first application and I haven't seen an ant to date. I told all my friends and family about this product and website. Did they deliver on time? Yes. Was the container labeled as expected? Yes. Did they charge the correct amount? Yes. Does the stuff work? Ask me in a couple of years. I would point out that the many pages of warnings and such, seemingly written by some federal lawyer, makes it quite difficult to find important or essential information. It will take awhile, but the data is there. How you react to all the "sky is falling' warnings depends on you.

We found individual Carpenter Ants wandering in different rooms in our house. Looked outside and saw them on the concrete foundation wall in a couple places along with other black ants. Found a tiny opening in the siding insulation where the Carpenter Ants were entering. Sprayed a gallon of Termidor SC mix on the entire outside concrete foundation wall. Checked a few days later and both Carpenter Ants and black ants all gone from outside foundation wall. Have not seen any inside the house either. Was surprised at how effective this product was. Very pleased with quick and excellent results.

A friend (who owns a local pest control business) recommended this for the control/elimination of ants. He also mentioned that it does a great job on termites. Fortunately, living in the Pacific Northwest we don't have the problems with subterranean termites that those of you in the Southeast might. I applied Termidor SC to the perimeter of my home on a Sunday and by the end of the week all traces of ant activity were gone. Very effective product, easy to handle, easy to apply and no odor. Note: read the instructions carefully. They are different for ants than they are for termites.

I am a pro pest killer. This is the solution for your ant problems. It also happens to work on nearly every other pest that comes into contact with it. This is NOT an instant-kill solution, so if you're "testing" it by spraying bugs and watching them crawl around in it and complaining... you did it wrong. Allow a couple of days to see results. DO NOT ADD MORE THAN THE DIRECTIONS SAY. If you think mixing more in your water is going to be beneficial, you are mistaken. Ants will be able to detect the pesticide and will avoid it. Mix as directed! You aren't supposed to use this inside as a pro. That being said, if you happen to treat in wall voids, cracks and crevices, the ants will disappear too. For inside, use Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel. These two pesticides when used as a tag team, will destroy your ant population. If you find more ants coming back later, they are certainly from a different colony. Track it down, and kill it.

After several e-mails, Michael, at Do My Own Pest Control, recommended Termidor SC for our ant problem. We used it around all the ant sites in our front and back yard. We have quite a bit of stone walkway and stone walls, where the ants seemed to thrive, as well our driveway area. We never quite determined the ant species (carpenter or Argentine fire ants?) BUT, they were all gone the next day, not even any on the peonies! It has been 2 weeks and there is not a sign of an ant. Great stuff! Easy to mix and spray.

Works very well. I stopped using the pro's such as Termix after I learned they were using this same product. Now I apply with a 1 gal garden sprayer. In the summer I have to apply more often than directed, but in the winter I don't have to apply at all so it works out. It also covers just about every bug. We dont' have termites but it works for ants of all kinds, just about any crawling bug. Spiders seem to still hang around, though I am told once all the bugs are gone the spides go and that does seem to hold true.

Maybe too soon to tell but we haven't seen any sign of termites since we applied Termidor SC 3 weeks ago. Termites were found coming through the wall in our master bedroom closet so we had to act fast. We drilled into the wall in several places and injected a small amount with a syringe. That may have not been recommended but it did the trick! We also dug a trench against the outside bedroom wall where we found the nest. We applied 10 feet on either side of the nest. So far so good!

Started using Termidor in Florida several years ago. Had to relocate to Illinois last winter, and bought a home there. Spring came and so did the ants. Since I had used the product before, with great results, I decided to try it on a major ant problem here. We had crazy ants all through the house, big black ants all over the decks and many places in the house. Treated the exterior of the foundation and sprayed the exterior two feet up and out, and have not seen any evidence of ants yet. Although it is pricey, it goes a long way and regardless of that, it really works.

I've been trying to kill ants around my home in San Diego for the last 25 years. I've used (literally) everything that the Home Centers have available. I've successfully killed every ant that I came across using "on contact insecticides". I talked to an Exterminator that was spraying around the building where I work, hoping he would give me some professional advise. He told me that his company uses, nearly exclusively, Termidor for nearly every insect they come across. I bought it from DoMyOwnPestControl.com and I sprayed it in Spring and haven't seen an ant in 3 months!! Unbelievable! Spray it on them but don't drown them! Then let them return to their worker duties and back to their colonies. Also spray it around the perimeter of your home including the edges of all concrete patios or walkways, fences, walls, sheds, etc. As long as it is not washed away, it lasts for several months. It's picked up by their feet and taken back to the colony. Then they crawl away and carry it back to the colony and kill them all!! It's truly unbelievable!! Worked perfectly on our dry termites too. This is, by far, the best insecticide investment I've ever made. You can easily do it yourself with minimal effort. Just put it in your sprayer with water, pump it and spray it (or you can pay an exterminator to do it for you), your choice!

We have a pop up camper that had a problem with ants. There was a section of flooring that had water damage from an apparent leak in the past. Evidently, ants had taken up residence in the floor/walls. We tried putting diatomaceous earth all around the perimeter and the leveling legs where the ants would crawl up to gain entry. Not much help, as we still would find infestation after it would sit unused for a couple of months. Then we tried Terro ant bait liquid. It did kill some ants, but they were still around. Finally, I decided to buy the Termidor after reading positive reviews on DMOPC.com. I mixed up 1 gal of solution and sprayed it all over the outside around the camper, focusing on the contact points with the ground. We waited a couple of days, realizing that the product was supposed to be delayed to allow the pests to carry the pesticide back to the nest to share with their friends. When we went to check on the camper, we didn't notice any live ants crawling around and there were lots of dead ones on the floor. We waited a couple of more days before cleaning out the camper and poping down until the next trip. We swept up all of the dead ants into a pile probably about 3" in diameter. No live ants were found in the popup or around the ground contact points since. Yeah! I'm a believer. I'm going to spray around my detached garage next because I'm always getting various bugs in there.

I had a company do a service on my home in Massachusetts - it shows carpenter ants and termites. Yes - all showings stopped and many dead ants were found. But after a couple weeks - they showed again. I applied Termidor SC myself to the same places and parameter. 2 days later there were NO showings. When I lifted the garage door - the floor was littered with dead ants - MANY - MANY more than before! No showings since!!! It was very easy to use in my back sprayer at 3 gallons per use. I am very pleased and will purchase more in a couple months for my Florida home also. I recommend this product. Doing for ones self - is always a more complete job.

We noticed that we were infested with termites and found out that this is what the licensed professionals use. We purched a bottle from a local store at $136.00 a bottle! We came home and googled it to find it on sale for $49.00 from your site if we bought 3 or more bottles, (and to be honest, even the regular price of $68.50 is a really good price compaired to other places) which is what we needed. This is a wonderful product. I have ordered this product twice now. The first time I used it it did wonders. We had such an ant problem that you could see them crawling in the crevices of the walls but two days later there were no traces what so ever. The second time I bought the product and used it it did good except around the sink in the kitchen. One thing I will say is when you receive your product make sure you put it inside the house where kids cannot reach it and make sure it's not exposed to heat because the first batch I received I put in my outside shed and when I used it the second time it didn't work at all. I would recommend this product to anyone with ant and or termite infestation's.

This was a really great purchase. I sprayed this product down just as suggested. I did not disrupt the ants trail going up my foundation wall with 24 hrs, Dead ants Galore. I did not expect it to be this fast acting and really happy with the results. I have also used Talstar, for other pest, and I gotta say these products are the real deal. Thank you guys for carrying these products, so I can control these pest at my own pace and not be subjected to a service plan. A+
