The only good termite is a dead termite, I now have a lot of good ones. Is it possible to treat the entire yard? We treated the entire house, if they decide to swarm, I would like to treat the yard with something, we have sandy soil with wood particles in it. The termite pros wanted thousands, wasn't gonna happen; after all my house survived Katrina! The product seems to work GREAT, I need more.

I'm in the process of applying the products. It's not termite season in Arizona yet. I'll have to wait until June or July to see the effects of these products but my experience has been that they both work well, with Termidor seeming to be a little more effective.

Had termite damage and activity that I found in the fall. Put Termidor down as instructed. I cleaned off all tunnels and have not seen any activity since then. Recently put down a second dose inside the foundation walls and into the porch wall piers. Great Product!

I had never used Termidor SC and I used it for the first time on cutting ants, it seems to work. I like it and I will continue to use it for other things too. I liked finding out about Do My Own Pest Control. Thank You

I have chosen Termidor over Premise from the research that I have done which indicates that Termidor is a more effective product than the older Premise. From what I recall Termidor is more effective in killing the nest and remains effective in the ground for a longer period of time. I think many professionals would agree with these statements. I have used Premise in the past and find the two products are very similar in use. Application is not complicated but requires some effort and time. I am protecting my current house with Termidor but used Premise on the previous house. I have purchased several orders of Termidor from DoMyOwnPestControl and am very satisfied with their service and price. Now I am ordering Termidor for my friend who is doing his house also.

Being a newbie to the pest control 'world', I first found a local professional pest control supply company in the yellow pages and decided to call for DIY product info. Was told that they only sold to professional exterminator companies, BUT they were good enough to refer me to the Internet (bless their hearts!) and suggested Termidor: as that is what the 'Pros' use.  Called two of the 'major' companies for an on-site free estimate. I proceeded to ask if they used Termidor and the estimator (from the nations largest company) gave me a rather surprised look and said "yes".  Ordered the product and received excellent all-round service: have yet to use so cannot attest to it's merits. I'll report back...

Hadn't had a chance to use product yet (ground frozen!). However, the product arrived very quickly, and everything was exactly as expected. Great company to deal with. After extensive research, I am sure the product is the one I need for the job, in that it exterminates not repels as other products. Read the University of Georgia lab tests on this.

Had a nasty Carpenter Ant infestation at my apartment. The pest control guy was spraying what you can basically get at Home Depot for killing ants. After research I realized that he was treating incorrectly and you have to use a product designed for this issue and the ants need to be oblivious of it's presence or they will just simply make more workers to replace the dead ones and setup more colonies. I mixed this stuff in a 5 gal bucket and poured it outside around the foundation. Don't get discouraged this is not a kill quick solution.  That's the trick, they take it back to the nest as they do their normal activities and infect the others and the queen. Took about a week but then those damn things were gone.

The Termidor SC 20 oz bottle (9.1% Fipronil) allows easy measurement of individual 0.8 oz quantities for easy mixing into a 5 gallon bucket with 4 gallons of tap water, producing a 0.06% treatment solution. I used the perimeter trench treatment around my home, digging an approximate 10-ft x 6-in x 6-in trench next to the home's foundation for each 4-gallons of solution, digging down 6 to 8 inches to the foundation footer directly below ground. I poured the treatment solution into the trench and replaced the soil, mixing the soil with the solution as I replaced it. As allowed in the accompanying Termidor SC instructions for treating severe termite infestations, I increased the treatment dosage to 0.125%, pouring a total of 8 gallons solution into each ten-foot trench. In my case, after 2-3 months, all subteranean termite colonies have apparently come into contact with the termiticide and I have not needed to drill holes into the foundation and apply the Termidor solution beneath the concrete-slab-floor inside my home. All evidence of termite activity has come to a halt. The Termidor SC 20 oz bottle is a bit pricey, but BASF-manufactured "Fipronil" termiticide appears to be very, very effective. I should mention that under Arizona Revised Statutes (Arizona state law), homeowners are legally allowed to treat termites for the home that they own. Treating the termites myself saved at least 50-75% off the quotes I received from several professional treatment companies.

Beekeepers use Termidor for control of the small hive beetle. This invasive beetle is especially detrimental to honey bee colonies. We put a small drop of a sweet mixture containing Termidor inside of a CD cassette so that the beetles are attracted to the bait but the honey bees can not enter. ZZZZAAAPPP goes the beetles.

Use it for termites, ants and spiders. I spray only outside, but it controls the insects. Like it very much.

I received the product I ordered promptly. Hopefully it will keep my termites away for a few years. Due to wet/frozen soil I won't be able to finish my application for a while.

I had a huge ant problem around my home coming in from the outside. They were in the kitchen then I got rid of them there and they showed up in the bathrooms real bad. I tried little products from home depot and lowes (ant bait gels and what not). I even paid an exterminator to come out and that didn't seem to help either. I was on the phone one day with another exterminator company that was charging too much money and the man recommended I find this product. So I googled it and found this website. The product worked well with one good....spraying all the way around my house. However, it did take another 2-3 weeks for all the ants to go away. Which I understand because the spray stopped new ants from coming in immediately but it took awhile to kill all the other ants that were already in the home.

I had a carpenter ant problem at my house. I killed a big nest in the wall. I had to replace half a wall.  I had called an exterminator to come and service my home and they charged me $250 START-UP FEE the store manager told them to use Termidor at first -with bait then they would return every 3 months for $95 .They stopped using Termidor and they would use the premixed tank in the truck they would use a hose and spray --HAHA i would have to call every month after that for carpenter ants around my house walking on the walls outside.  They would come back and use Termidor then I would be good. I told the tech about me buying this product from this great store he said its not the same --HAHA lol bull I told! him so i bought this product and did myself and my parents house who had a problem also . This product really works -the moral is buy this product! You will not be disappointed with it or this great company! ohh also when i placed my order and went out front it was there that is how fast it came no bull i will buy all my pest control products from --DOMYOWNPESTCONTROL.COM ***THANK YOU TO THE COMPANY **

I was told about this product by a professional pest control person. I constantly had ants in my kitchen and both bathrooms, but one application has solved that problem. For a couple of days after using Termidor SC I could locate the access points the ants were using to enter the house by the very high body count left both outside and inside. The directions are easy to follow (the warnings sound intimidating but just read them and use your head), the containers' design makes it real easy to select the mixture amount. I'm waiting now to see how long the first application lasts before I have to reapply. I'm very happy with the product and look forward to my friends complaining about their ant problems so I can pass on my new found knowledge.

Used product to treat perimeter of home, and was amazed at the amount and variety of critters that I later found floating in my pool's skimmer basket, nasty. Dealt with the dead bugs.... but they were definitely dead, and trying to escape the perimeter of the home, which was the reason for using the product.

I had a termite guy treat my garage for termites with Termidor, and he told me that my ants and spiders are an "on the label" application for Termidor. There's a ton of great information on domyownpestcontrol.com, and it's a great resource to help figure out what to use and how to do it.

No more pesky Raspberry ants!!! I had a major infestation and I had tried almost every product at the local hardware store, nothing worked. I was told by a friend that he used Termidor for his ant problem. He said I could DIY and save a lot of money. I bought it last week and received this past weekend. After reading the instructions book I sprayed on Friday...by Sunday morning they were gone. I wish I had found this product sooner.
