I've been fighting carpenter ants for 10 years, using every imaginable strategy to no avail. This time I tried Termidor SC and within three days all carpenter ants were eliminated, including three queens that I found dead at their point of entry. I wish I had this product 10 years ago. It is the best product for eliminating carpenter ants and I highly recommend it to anyone coping with these pests.

I used it in my front yard soon after receiving it in the post. Had to look VERY hard to find any ants the next day! I was not able to spray the back yard too, or the perimeter of the property, so a few have come back after a few weeks, but I'm confident that once all is cleared (and the rains die out) a good full application will do the job

Working outside under a tent at fairs, festivals and speciality shows exposes us to a wide variety of creepy, crawly critters. This product keeps them at bay, regardless of the type of bug we encounter, from upstate NY to south FL and many locations between. In addition, we use it in and around our camper for bug free living as we travel. One container last us more than two years, making it very economical as well as effective. We highly recommend it to all our friends and associates.

Crazy ants are invading Florida now. Google them if you don't know of them. They are a nuisance because of their sheer number. They breed like crazy and are very hard to control. Baits do not work. General yard pest granules do not work. I have them on the outside of my home and barn. They have not made a move to come inside - yet. I tried a surface treatment of Termidor along their trails and it seemed to work - for about a week. Then they came back. More Termidor. They came back in another week. More Termidor. They still came back but each time there were less ants than before. It seems that Termidor will eventually get them but make sure you have enough for several treatments. These guys are relentless.

This product was delivered promptly and the container was very easy to use with the measuring "cup" conveniently built into the bottle. I was adding a paver patio at my back door, so I only treated a twenty foot linear area. We will be using this product when we are ready for the entire house.

I applied this product for little black ants about 2 weeks ago. They were gone within 2 days and I haven't seen them since. So far, so good. I am pleased at this point, hoping they will stay gone.

Seem to be a true success. A little early to tell because no rain. It is cooling here in Houston and the proof will be in the Spring. But so far treated areas are free of those pesky rasberry crazy ants!

I purchased a home this summer in rural southeast Texas and recently was introduced to a very small ant in many numbers (millions) all around the perimeter of my home. After talking with neighbors and doing some self research I realized that it is the newly discovered Crazy Rasberry Ant that is paying me a visit. Although they do not seem to sting and apparently over take fire ants, which I can attest to since I have not found even one fire ant mound on my three acre property to date, they can be a real problem. The problem with these ants is they seem to like electronic equipment and reportedly have caused significant damage to home electrical systems and equipment in this part of Texas. I used several of the well known insect/ant pesticides which did kill the trailing ants but a day and in some cases a few hours later there are just as many to replace the dead ones. By the way I learned that these ants will actually feed on their on dead. According to information from Texas A&M University it seems there is not yet a known solution to kill off this new species of ants but the product Termidor SC was recommended as a product to use externally for their control. I purchased this product and applied according to directions about eight days ago. The results to date are very positive. I do not have any ants around the perimeter of my home and the numbers of ants away from the home (in the yard) at least seem to have been reduced significantly. I would definitely recommend this product.

Termidor SC is easy to mix, easy to spray, and so far we have not seen any bugs, and we had a BAD ant problem.

I've been trying to kill ants around my home in San Diego for the last 25 years. I've used (literally) everything that the Home Centers have available. I've successfully killed every ant that I came across using "on contact insecticides". I talked to an Exterminator that was spraying around the building where I work, hoping he would give me some professional advise. He told me that his company uses, nearly exclusively, Termidor for nearly every insect they come across. I bought it from DoMyOwnPestControl.com and I sprayed it in Spring and haven't seen an ant in 3 months!! Unbelievable! Spray it on them but don't drown them! Then let them return to their worker duties and back to their colonies. Also spray it around the perimeter of your home including the edges of all concrete patios or walkways, fences, walls, sheds, etc. As long as it is not washed away, it lasts for several months. It's picked up by their feet and taken back to the colony. Then they crawl away and carry it back to the colony and kill them all!! It's truly unbelievable!! Worked perfectly on our dry termites too. This is, by far, the best insecticide investment I've ever made. You can easily do it yourself with minimal effort. Just put it in your sprayer with water, pump it and spray it (or you can pay an exterminator to do it for you), your choice!

We had an ant problem in our home. Not sure what kind but Termidor got rid of them all. It worked within a few days. After paying Terminix $75/quarter, now I can treate my home for the next several years for less. I don't write many reviews, but this works so well, I had to recommend it.

We use this product at two houses. We have an old house and it works well there also. We are constantly fighting termites and this is the weapon to use. We have recommended this product to our friends and they buy it and use it also. Great product.

This product is awesome. It took care of a sugar ant problem almost immediately by spraying the perimeter. Much better than having a company come and do the same thing and charge triple the cost.

Happy to find this available without paying a "professional." Very Explicit instructions. Expensive chemical and a time-consuming job but that's the trade-off when you're too cheap like me to pay someone else! Time will tell if the little guys return.

I used this for ants that two exterminators could not ID. Excellent product! Expensive upon first sight, but CHEAP compared to an exterminator that was going to use the SAME PRODUCT! And I have some left over to apply later, if needed, waaaay beyond the 30 day guarantee the exterminator was going to provide.

I bought this to control major ant problem in my house. I sprayed outer walls with a band of about 2-3 feet. Ants gone the next day. Also, I think I found the nest near the house which was around one plant under all the leaves at the root base. Sprayed that as well. Also put Talstar crystals in the grass at same time. Basically, it stopped all the ants. Had a bug company try to sign me up for $450 for the year. Seems like I did the job here for under $100 and still have enough chemicals for an entire year.

I had a pest control company but it was very expensive and they were not very nice. The cost was $72.00 once every two months, that is how often they came and sprayed my residence. Now I can do my own when I need it and don't have to call anyone if I have any problems and wait for them. This product is effective and easy to use.

When you tip the bottle to fill the pre-measured amount is a handy feature yes, but when you go to pour out that amount from it's spout, be sure not to hold the bottle sideways while pouring it and instead leave it upright - My point being if you have it sideways then as you're pouring from that pre-measured chamber more is entering that chamber at the same time, and you may end up dispensing many times more than what was intended. I did that a few times and ended up using 3 times as much as I was suppose to before I realized what was happening. It won't happen again; hopefully this note will tip off others too. Otherwise, great products and great Customer Service. Product 5 stars, Container 4 stars and there should be a note to watch for this issue.

We built a home on farmland that is near woods and we were were having lots of problems with red ants. We have been very pleased with the results of Termidor in helping us control the ants and bugs. We had tried several other products but this seems the most effective so far.

Fipronil (Termidor SC) finally ended a 3-year battle with the crazy ants infesting my summer home. The house is built over a crawl space with a sandy floor. A variety of ant baits and traps failed to control the ants over the first two seasons, and by this summer they were everywhere. Entry trails for the ants going up the sides of the block foundation could be seen, but neither dusting nor spraying with pyrethrins had any lasting effect. In the kitchen, huge swarms of ants would appear a few minutes after anything sweet hit the countertops. I sprayed the entire perimeter walls of the block foundation with Termidor SC at 0.06% strength. All but the kitchen ants disappeared in a few days. Beating the kitchen ants required making openings in the wall cavities from outside the house and spraying inside. I was able to track the ants to multiple nests inside the windowsills of a screened porch- they were following a totally enclosed path into the kitchen. During the infestation, a coffee cup left for a few minutes would attract ants; now the never appear. These ants seem to be everywhere in our warm, wet, sandy environment, but the Termidor barrier is keeping them out of the house.

This product is very effective to kill termites and carpenter ants. It is also good at killing numerous other pests such as wasps, and other insects that come in contact with it.
