After trying a lot of worthless brands from the big stores that only brought wasted time, money, and no results to try and kill ants, I hunted down this product. Years ago I had an exterminator at the house to give me a spraying estimate. It was $600.00 to do the whole house. Asked what product, he said a stuff called Termidor. It works very well. After he left I got on the internet and found it at Do My Own PestControl.com. Finally I ordered the product, mixed 2.5 gal. up, sprayed the foundation perimeter. By the second and third day I saw ants walking like they were drunk in my house. Not going very fast. On the 4th day I saw some dead ones here and there. Have saw no more in the house-very rarely many by the foundation. It works!! Has been about 2 weeks or so now. Worth the price if you're as sick of ants as I was. Thank You. Sincerely, Lloyd

I am only holding out on the fifth star because I don't know if they are coming back... I used a low dose of Termidor SC to get rid of carpenter ants on my outside deck. Within two days I saw fewer ants. Within a week they are no longer around. This was amazing..

I had sugar/ghost ants and spraying and ants baits were useless. A friend recommended Termidor. Sprayed around the outside of my house and a few days later no ants were to be found. 1 year later, still no ants. I took 2 ounces to the Philippines with me (ant paradise!), treated 4 houses and all their ants disappeared. For termite control, it stops termites in their tracks. I use bait/monitoring stations and put a few drops if termites are seen and presto, they are gone! I have been using the same 20 oz bottle for 2 years and still have 1/2 a bottle remaining.

I use this in conjunction with Cy-Kick, as Cy-Kick is safe for indoor use as well as outdoor use. Termidor is very effective around the perimeter of our house and basement, as well as our shed. I had a carpenter ant problem a year ago (never had a problem before) and called a pest control company and paid for a contract. They used Termidor outside the house, and Cy-Kick inside. Within the first day or so after the treatment, we saw a lot of dead and dying carpenter ants. The problem disappeared after a few weeks. I bought Cy-Kick in the spring this year, and Termidor mid-summer. We still have no problems with ants, in fact we have no problem with any insects in the house or around the perimeter. Termidor is an excellent product, the shipping was fast (received product in 3 days with free shipping!), and costs much less than a pest control contract..

This is the second time I’ve used the product for termite control. The first application was done professionally to control an existing infestation at a cost of $4,000. Well worth the money considering the cost to repair damage done by these pests. The second application was done ‘in house’, as a preventive measure, at a fraction of the price. Not only do I not have to worry about termites for the next few years, but the ant problem I’ve been dealing with over the past year has also disappeared. As a plus, I used what little Termidor remained to eliminate a Yellowjacket problem on my 4+ acre property. Mixing the diluted (.009%) product into tuna and putting the bait in locations around the property inaccessible to all but Yellow jackets, I’ve cleared the property completely within a week. BASF has earned a loyal customer for life.

After trying most everything else with limited success, one application of Termidor SC got rid of an ant infestation. Highly recommended.

One use and the termites were gone!!! It's true this is what the professionals use, but to keep you coming back they dilute it with a lot of water, but when you do it your self it's done correctly and the pests are gone with one use, and you save lots of cash! I couldn't believe it! My sister saw the results and said order one for me.

A friend (who owns a local pest control business) recommended this for the control/elimination of ants. He also mentioned that it does a great job on termites. Fortunately, living in the Pacific Northwest we don't have the problems with subterranean termites that those of you in the Southeast might. I applied Termidor SC to the perimeter of my home on a Sunday and by the end of the week all traces of ant activity were gone. Very effective product, easy to handle, easy to apply and no odor. Note: read the instructions carefully. They are different for ants than they are for termites.

Big black ants were getting out of control and invading the deck area and outside of the house. I tried products offered by the big retailers. They were some help but did not keep them away. Termidor SC solved the problem quickly and so far permanently (6 weeks). Product label advises use by professionals only so read completely and follow precautions. It gets the job done!

For about three weeks, give or take, I dinked around with home improvement store remedies to eradicate the giant black carpenter ants from my deck, house siding and pole barn. Nothing really seemed to work. Enter Termidor SC. BLAM. All gone. This stuff is like a miracle or somethin’. Three days after applying it I called my wife back to the deck and said, “Honey, what don’t you see?” “I dunno,” she said. “NO ANTS,” I rejoiced. She walked away shaking her head, unable to comprehend my excitement.

The product was received within 6 days. Packaging and contents were in good order. Used the product immediately outdoors (July 7). Within two weeks the pest activity slowed. Yesterday I did not see any carpenter ants traffic. I heard this product is good for more than one season. Next year I will monitor early in the spring and apply more Termidor if needed so I can keep these pests in check. One con: repeated tipping and transfer of the concentrate eventually caused some leakage near the side neck. So wear gloves when handling.

Placing my order was easy, no unreasonable hoops to jump through, and the product was delivered quickly without any hassles whatsoever. Definitely a satisfied customer, will use them again! Oh, and Termidor SC works like a CHAMP. We were infested with ants at every turn, 2 days after application you could not find a single ant anyplace. Awesome product!

Product arrived as advertised. Followed the application instructions. We feel protected for another five years. Self application significantly reduced our costs. In addition to termite protection, we noticed a significant reduction of ant and cricket population within three days.

Product shipping was fast!  Instructions were clear and easily understood. If you have clay ladened soil, common in Tennessee, I suggest softening with a little water using a garden hose around the perimeter of the house to make trenching. Otherwise, the operation went smoothly.

We've been fighting carpenter ants for 14 years.  It has been two weeks since I applied Termidor around the foundation and we haven't seen any ants for more than a week.  Wonderful stuff!  Easy to use!  The video really helped me do the job properly. Termidor applications will be an annual event from now on.

Got Termidor after hearing about it from one of the 3 or 4 exterminators that gave me a $250.00 and higher estimate for getting rid of carpenter ants. It seems to have done the job great, cost seventy something with spray bottle and have enough left over for another treatment in the future if needed. All I can say is thanks and let others know via this review.

I used this, actually less than indicated (I only sprayed the foundation, not 1' on the ground). I had had a problem with carpenter ants for years. Paid an exterminator monthly for years, and still killed 8-10 a week. Sprayed this, and went on vacation. Came back expecting to have to to "clean up". Nothing. Not a single ant, not even any climbing on my deck supports. This stuff is fantastic! 6 weeks since the treatment, and I have killed 1 (one!) ant in the house.

Every spring and summer since we moved into our current house 10 years ago we have had a problem with ants. While we were visiting in Florida this spring our friends told us about Termidor SC. As soon as we returned to Illinois I went online and found your website. The price was almost $20.00 less than our friends were paying in Florida and the free shipping was awesome. Not only have we not seen any ants since treating but we haven't seen any other bugs either. This product is fantastic!

Our whole block is notorious for becoming infested with "odorous house ants". We also all have problems in our yards, with ants crawling everywhere by the thousands. We have hired exterminators several times, only to have the ants return. Finally I bought Termidor SC. I treat the perimeter of my house and I do the same for my neighbors as soon as I see an ant or two, and the problem is GONE. I do a treatment a few times a year. It's simple to use and we're able to barbecue ant free. Best of all, by keeping the situation maintained outside, we are no longer infested indoors! LOVE THIS!

I bought Termidor SC due to a stubborn ant problem in my house. After spraying around the entire foundation, the problem was resolved. Other treatments had been tried and failed. Very impressive results!

Tried everything else, but this was the ticket. No need to find the carpenter ant nests in the walls. DON"T MESS WITH BAITS, that often times don't work. This took care of them within 24 hours. I will be purchasing this again in the future if I run into any more problems.
