Here in Texas we have major fire ant problems. I should say I had fire ant problems. Mixed it .08 oz per gal and sprayed my whole yard .6 acre. No fire ants for three years. I find them sneaking over from my neighbors fence and respray the fence line after two to three years.

We have been battling ants every year for what seems like eons. Nothing seemed to work. They were in the flower beds crawling on the house and on the fence. The reviews were encouraging so we tried it. Termidor seems to have gotten rid of them in one treatment. We treated the outside of the house and along the fence line two weeks ago and have not seen any so far.

I really like this product. It has cut down on my ant problem. I have a couple of fence post that need it for termites and will try this week on them

I waited until it got cooler to apply this stuff, but boy when I did I saw one or two fire ants in the next couple of days, then absolutely gone within 4 days. I sprayed my perimeter, my foundation, my driveway cracks, and the base of my fence. This stuff works.

We haven't used this termiticide yet, but I am confident when we do it will be the end of the termites in the fence. We have not been disappointed with any product from DMYPC and our house has never been so "bug free".

I had a combination of sugar and carpenter ants in different areas of my yard. After mixing a batch of Termidor, I sprayed my yard and the perimeter around my house and fence. Voila! Haven't seen an ant since. Saved me a bunch of money by avoiding calling a pest control company. Thanks, y'all.

I sighted the big black ants about the 2nd week in May. When we had a couple 80 degree days (Metro Detroit area) I then proceeded to find something to get rid of them - hence the review. I bought Termidor and received it a week later. I waited for a nice dry spell so I could get the best application possible. I sprayed the foundation, about 4 feet high, and then the mulch and perimeter of the house about 2 feet out. I then proceeded to spray the fence as well as the edge of the sidewalk where the grass meets the concrete - they love this area to nest. It's been about 2 full weeks now since I've sprayed and I have yet to see a living ant inside my house. Nada. I went to the fence where they had made a nest in a 2x4 and there is absolutely no activity. I've noticed that there are no ants roaming on the sidewalks around the house and no ants roaming in the mulch. I believe that the ants brought the chemical back to the nest and killed the queen and colony. I will reapply in the fall. I've also tried prelude - only a contact killer and does not kill queen or colony. This stuff kicks butt!

When we saw a few of the winged terrors I purchased two bottles of the Termidor concentrate treat my house.. I removed the baseboards, drilled holes every 6 inches just above the plate and making sure I was just against each side of the framing stud. I then saturated the interior of the walls thoroughly and between the slab and sole plate. I even sprayed the backs of the baseboard before I replaced them. I will be ordering another two to treat the perimeter of my house and my fence line. I hope to never see another termite again.

I have only used this product for about a month. So, my experience is limited. However, I sprayed Termidor SC as a perimeter barrier against Argentine ants, with great success so far. I was finding new ant trails into my house along the foundation every few days. Since I've sprayed the Termidor, I have had no further entries along my foundation. They have come in along the top of my fence, where it attaches to the house (didn't spray there). This tells me the ants are still around, and trying their best to get in, and they are not getting in where the Termidor has been sprayed. Fantastic so far!

I have using Termidor SC for years.Bought it this time mainly for crazy ants. Had them all the way on the roof and everywhere inside. I gave the outside perimeter of the bld. and ground including all columns a good dose as directed. Next morning they were gone. I noticed a small trail of crazy ants 2 weeks after application. Gave that area and the property fence line a spray. Not one crazy ant and is knocking out the Millipeds too. Thank you for the quick shipping.

Wow!!!! Great product!!!! I have told family and friends about this stuff. I had a terrible ant problem around and in my house. I used Termidor around soffetts, fence, perimeter of house and I have no more problems with ants, roaches, silverfish, spiders, and I have spot treated for termites. In screened in patio area ants by the hundreds were falling from soffets and I had to sweep up daily to get rid of dead ants. Now when I eat on my patio I dont have to see ants running across the walls of my house.

Been having carpenter ant issues outside the home for 4+ years. I tried the store bought stuff, I tried some flaky poison food - but that stuff only mitigated the issue in the short term. After time they were back and moving colonies. I will note I only used this product (Termidor SC) OUTDOORS, I didn't have issues inside the house. But I see dead ants everywhere. I sprayed about 2 weeks before this review and I have only seen one or two straggling ants here or there - not in the numbers I saw before crawling up and down trees and around my fence. This is finally the one product that worked... even after searching all kinds of other remedies. If you think the cost is expensive. I wouldn't hesitate because just 4oz of this stuff w/ 1G of water was all i needed and it was worth the money.

For the last few years the fire ant population has dramatically increased in our peaceful little valley here in East Tennessee. My brother-in-law recommended that I try Termidor, which I could order over the internet. I found the DoMyOwnPestControl site and ordered Termidor along with other products. They were shipped and arrived within a couple of days. I mixed the Termidor as per the instructions given by the manufacturer and sprayed only a small amount on each ant hill and was suprised to find the ants dead within a few days. I am beginning to believe we might regain our property from the ants. I had five huge hills in my yard and the fence row of the property next door has 15. I am confident that these also will bite the dust.

I have 2 acres in southern Utah and 2 large mega cities of harvester ants. I also have numerous small cities of tiny ArgentinIan ants every where. I also pay $35 a month for pest control. In order to have them spray the areas afflicted, it would cost me an additional $60 a month. I decided to do it myself so I've spent about $50 buying Bayer pest control, Timbor ant termite powder cost me $30. After liberal amounts of both, the ants were disturbed, agitated but came back with a vengeance! I finally decided to pour charcoal lighter into all the openings and after an intense 2 hours of burning hell fire my problem was solved. Until a week later when I noticed both large mounds were scorched and seemingly unaffected. Bodies of crispy ants were being meticulously stacked by the survivors. I was astounded! A roaring 2 hour inferno and it was as if nothing happened. I was going to fence off a quarter acre and considered "quit claiming" it to the ANTS! This would finally solve my ant angst. My curious rancher neighbor leaned over the white vinyl fence, and asked "What in the world are you doing? " Running my hands through my thinning hair I explained my futile attempt at pest control. He pulls a piece of straw out from between his teeth and laughs, "You need to use Termidor", doesn't take more than an ounce". Huh! You're kidding me I cried. After a quick Internet search I discovered your site, ordered a bottle, cringed at the cost and after receiving it, following the directions, I waited. Remembering the label description, this is not an "instant kill" I waited as the ants seem to staggered around. Shrugging I left. Returning two days later I was stunned. Absolute total emptiness. Desolation every where. Not one harvester ant. Not one Argentinian ant. No insects at all. After 2 years of fighting a losing battle and hundreds of dollars in costs, the ants are completely and totally gone. A month later and still not one ant to be found anywhere. Only 2 oz. mixed with water and applied with a sprayer. Unbelievable! In terms of a product that truly and definitely works, this is it! 5 out of 5 rating! Prepare to be Shocked and Awed! ! !

I had a professional pest control company treat for termites, after thousands of dollars in damages to my home. I called it educational expense. Now I know how it's applied and what to look for in the future. I purchased a 20 oz bottle Turmidor SC after reading about the ant killing properties at DoMyOwnPestControl. I thought the price was a little steep but, over the years I have spent twice that much and still had ants. After mixing one gallon I knocked out most of the ant mounds within 24 hours. I sprayed along the sidewalks where the concrete meets the grass. It took a second application on *one* stubborn mound. I also sprayed up the house walls a couple of feet and along the cedar fences around the back yard. I doused the storage building in the back yard. Within 48 hours - I have *NO* more ants anywhere.

I read reviews after goolging carpenter ants after watching them march up the side of the house night after night. Ant Block didn't phase them. I read in one of your reviews I believe about the fact that by summer they want protein and Ant Block is not protein based. Anyway that's what I think it said. So after reading a lot of reviews over a period of days, we decided to take the plunge and order Termidor SC. My husband sprayed it on as directed 3 weeks ago. We saw a few ants the next day but after that we haven't seen any insects outside in the areas treated. It's amazing. We were out of town for about a week and came back to find the same--no insects. None had wandered into the house to die either. So this is a great product, and we haven't used it all. We will see how long the effects last. He also sprayed around the base of trees and along the fence where ants made their nightly trips. We haven't seen any in those areas either. The delivery was prompt--2 or 3 days I think. We purchased it from your company because of the great reviews, the price, and free shipping and handling. Thanks!

I've been trying to kill ants around my home in San Diego for the last 25 years. I've used (literally) everything that the Home Centers have available. I've successfully killed every ant that I came across using "on contact insecticides". I talked to an Exterminator that was spraying around the building where I work, hoping he would give me some professional advise. He told me that his company uses, nearly exclusively, Termidor for nearly every insect they come across. I bought it from DoMyOwnPestControl.com and I sprayed it in Spring and haven't seen an ant in 3 months!! Unbelievable! Spray it on them but don't drown them! Then let them return to their worker duties and back to their colonies. Also spray it around the perimeter of your home including the edges of all concrete patios or walkways, fences, walls, sheds, etc. As long as it is not washed away, it lasts for several months. It's picked up by their feet and taken back to the colony. Then they crawl away and carry it back to the colony and kill them all!! It's truly unbelievable!! Worked perfectly on our dry termites too. This is, by far, the best insecticide investment I've ever made. You can easily do it yourself with minimal effort. Just put it in your sprayer with water, pump it and spray it (or you can pay an exterminator to do it for you), your choice!
