"Have been battling carpenter ants for most of the summer. Spent hundreds of dollars at Lowes and the local hardware store on insecticides, which only killed the ants you could see. They ignored the typical sweet ant baits, and would come back even stronger after each treatment. Wife was threatening to call in the exterminator (hundreds of dollars more).
