    Q
    Scotts turf builder spreader
What number setting for scotts turf builder spreader. Bag is for large spreaders with letters for settings. Due to cost and home yard using a small spreader
    A
Unfortunately, we do not have the spreader settings for that specific combo, and since the manufacturer does not list that spreader on their bag we are unsure what the exact setting would be. Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, there isn't a master list that exists. You may want to try calling the manufacturer of your spreader or the chemical itself directly, to see if anyone on their staff has that info. Otherwise, you will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. You can see a short video on how to accomplish this below. How to Calibrate your Spreader

    Q
Can I apply The Anderson's Crabgrass Preventer with 2% Team Herbicide at the same time as seeding?
I just planted Kentucky blue grass but have seen crabgrass growing as well. Hopefully this does not kill Kentucky blue grass.
    A

For cool-season lawns such as fescue, bluegrass or ryegrass, early to mid spring or early fall is ideal for planting. Make sure to plant when the daytime temperatures are between 60 - 75 degrees and no lower than 50 degrees at night. It would not be advised to apply weed prevention such as The Anderson's Crabgrass Preventer with 2% Team Herbicide to newly seeded lawns as this could inhibit grass growth. The turf needs to be well established, mowed a few times (allowing the timeframe prior to seeding printed on the product label as well) prior to application to lawns as directed.
