  • Asked by James from Garland, Tx
    02/28/2024
    Q
Does this Anderson's 16-4-8 Fertilizer actually contain 19.24% Sulfur?
Anderson's 16-4-8 fertilizer is typically labeled to contain only 2.72% Sulfur. Do you advise putting multiple applications of that much Sulfur (at a 19.24% rate) during a single growing season? I am anxious for your thoughts on this.
    A
The Anderson's Turf Fertilizer 16-4-8 does not contain sulfur at all, only Nitrogen Phosphate and Potash as well as Iron per the product label.  If sulfur is determined to be needed by a soil test you would apply how much it states is needed from the test results but would be a separate product.
