You can definitely apply T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator while trying to control the dallisgrass with post emergent herbicides. The thicker the root base of the bermuda, the harder it is for weed to thrive and the healither the lawn will be as you fertilizer, mow, and maintain it through the season. T-Nex is typically applied once a month for Bermuda lawns.
The sod would have to be well established/rooted before applying any post-control herbicides or regulators.
T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator is applied at 11 fl oz/acre (0.25 fl oz/1,000 sq ft) for established zoysia turf as directed.
The application rates for T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator will vary depending on the type of turfgrass you have. Please refer to the Application Rate Table on page 6 & 7 of the product label for the recommended rates specific to your turfgrass.
You may need to calibrate your sprayer to determine how much water you will need to cover that area.
T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator can be mixed at 0.25 oz in at least half a gallon of water but no more than 4 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft. For some people, to cover 1000 sq ft, it takes a full gallon but others may take a little more. In this instance, water is the carrier, as long as you are getting 0.25 oz per 1000 sq ft, the amount of water doesn't matter.
This will depend on the weed control product you choose to use. According to the product label, T-Nex may be tank mixed with many other products. It is important to agitate the products. "For tank mixtures, use only if the mixing partner is registered for this use. Do not mix Quali-Pro. Otherwise a different product may be applied 2-3 days after the first application
The shelf life of products like T-Nex is 3-5 years from the date of purchase if stored in a dry place away from extreme temperatures. Since TNex works through the foliage you would want to make sure that the grass is fully established before using on newly seed turfgrass. Mowing at least 2-3 after seeding before applying would be best and using lower rates to start.
We do not recommend applying herbcides at the same time as a turf growth regulator such as T-Nex because this may put too much stress on the turfgrass at one time. Per the product label: "Because some herbicides can injure turf, test tank mixes with Quali-Pro T-Nex on a small scale before widespread use. See the directions for testing in the TANK MIX COMPATIBILITY TEST section."
TZone Herbicide, in particular, already has multiple active ingredients that can be pretty harsh on the turfgrass, so we would not apply these products together unless you have first tested a small area for compatibility and turf tolerance.
