    Q
What is the shelf life of T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator?
Is there an expiration date on the bottles? Does the product become less effective the longer it sits (say up to 3 or 5 years)? What if it is stored in a garage where temps can reach 100?
    A

The shelf life of products like T-Nex is 3-5 years from the date of purchase if stored in a dry place away from extreme temperatures. The expiration date is not on the bottle, though, you may be able to find the manufacture date. The product will lose efficacy over time if stored in a garage that experiences extreme temperatures.

    Q
How much T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator do I use in a 4 gallon sprayer for 2000 square feet of Tif-Tuf Bermuda?
    A

Quali-Pro T-Nex is applied at different rates depending on the bermuda variety. The water volume recommended is 0.5 to 4 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft. Blend only the volume of spray mixture needed for the square footage to be treated. Make sure there is sufficient agitation during application and apply evenly to ensure thorough coverage of the crop.

    Q
Can T-Nex be mixed with Triplet or other weed killers?
    A

Yes, T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator can be tank mixed with other herbicides as long as the herbicide you are wanting to tank mix with indicates this is allowed.

Refer to the individual herbicide product label you will be using for Tank Mixing or Compatibility Test instructions.

    Q
Can T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator be mixed with TZone and spray same time?
    A

We do not recommend applying herbcides at the same time as a turf growth regulator such as T-Nex because this may put too much stress on the turfgrass at one time. Per the product label: "Because some herbicides can injure turf, test tank mixes with Quali-Pro T-Nex on a small scale before widespread use. See the directions for testing in the TANK MIX COMPATIBILITY TEST section."

TZone Herbicide, in particular, already has multiple active ingredients that can be pretty harsh on the turfgrass, so we would not apply these products together unless you have first tested a small area for compatibility and turf tolerance.

    Q
Post germination time frame with T-Nex Plant Growth Regulator
How soon after seed germination is it ok to apply TNEX on Arden 15 Bermudagrass? Lawn has filled in 90-95% and I'm currently in week 9.
    A

Since TNex works through the foliage you would want to make sure that the grass is fully established before using on newly seed turfgrass.  Mowing at least 2-3 after seeding before applying would be best and using lower rates to start.
