I have used this product and it works very well for my needs. I use 1 capful mixed in 5 gallons of paint when striping athletic fields. Don't wish to kill the turf, just limit growth on my lines. No effect on abutting grass at all. I am particularly pleased with your price point.

Great product

Applied T Nex exactly as directed along with CoRoN using my 4 gallon backpack sprayer. The turf is noticeably greener with lateral growth of the Hybrid Bermuda turf. Very pleased with the results and will reapply in a month.

T-NEX works as advertised. Arrived in a heavy duty box, packaged securely and safely. Large up-front cost, but cost per application is very low. Stores in cool, dry location for years, don't be scared to pick some up! DoMyOwn.com is the best!

Great growth control with no yellowing

I applied at .75 oz per k to a high input elite KBG lawn and at 4 weeks have still have excellent growth control. I tank mixed with iron (ferrous ammonium sulfate), and experienced zero yellowing. I anticipate applying at 4 week intervals until late fall. The product has meet all my expectations. The only downside to this product is it will far exceed it's shelf life before I use it all up on my 3k sq ft lawn. However at this price I am absolutely ok with that.

My neighbor mowed the day before I did like 2 weeks ago and I see his yard is at mowing height now and looking like it needs a mowing However my yard is still another week or so out from needing to be mowed mine is noticeably shorter than his thanks to this wonderful product makes me have to mow only half as much and the grass is starting to sprout horizontally too! I think after my 4th application and a few waterings it'll look almost like a golf course believe it or not. It does seem to take longer for results when it's summer time I've noticed because the only area of my yard that gets shade throughout most of the day is the area with most horizontal growth just a little tip.

A great solution!

I purchased this in an attempt to lessen mowing frequency. Previously I had to mow every 3 days during growing season to keep the lawn under control. If I couldn't get to it for some reason until day 4 or 5, bagging clippings became a must to avoid suffocating the grass. Bagging is obviously a huge pain and removes nutrients from the lawn. Since using T-nex I can easily go a week or more between mows and it has the added benefits of lessening clippings, making the grass thicker and healthier looking, lowering watering requirements, increasing heat tolerance, and suppressing poa seed heads. My only regret is not getting this sooner. If you're on the fence about using PGR, just do it!

Next level lawns

The benefits of T-NEX will surprise you. I began using T-NEX last year in the spring of 2020 and my lawn quickly began to thicken. This spring 2021 my lawn turf is very dense, compact and full. I cut my back yard lawn short like a golf course. I always get complimentary comments on how stunning it looks. The neighborhood kids use it for their field of dreams. Steve

Needed Higher Application Rate

I live in Florida, Zone 10a and have a St Augustine lawn. I was cautious when first applying T-Nex because I didn't want to damage my lawn. I finally had to apply the T-Nex at about three times the recommended application rate to get results. Vertical growth is clearly suppressed but it's difficult to determine if there is more lateral branching. No noticeable difference in color. There may be a bit of phytotoxicity but it is only apparent to the discerning observer. I'm going to give this some time to deliver the advertised benefits, I'm sure that they will be there, I just have to be patient.

Awesome product. Just applied my second application today. About 3 weeks apart and due to all the recent rain didn't mow the lawn for almost a week. I could clearly see the areas that were missed in the first application. This product clearly holds the vertical growth down and helps to create a much thicker base. After missing a week of mowing I still had to really concentrate on my cut lines to ensure I wasn't skipping spots. Highly recommend this product if you like your lawn to have that sports turf look.

This review may be a bit premature but after one application I can see a pronounced difference in the density of my Bermuda and a slowing of the vertical growth rate. I also have a couple of thousand square feet of zoysia which is slower growing anyway and I am not sure whether I see a change in the zoysia. The biggest challenge was in calibrating the application rate. With variables based on type of grass, walking speed, dilution rate of the product in the hose end sprayer ( an absolute necessity at just a fraction of an ounce per 1000sq. Ft.) and flow rate of the diluted solution per gallon of water, I did a lot of math (and research) before satisfying myself that I was actually applying at the correct rate. Additionally, zoysia only takes 1/3 as much of the chemical as Bermuda. But, at this early stage, Iam very satisfied with the result.

I was a bit skeptical in purchasing this product and kind of forgot about applying it to be honest. However, a week or so later I found myself trying to figure out why the grass near my trampoline was so much taller than the rest. It finally dawned on me that the trampoline had been located in that patch of grass and didn't get an application of T-Nex while the surrounding areas did. Same thing with a patch of grass under our swing set. Works very well and I'm on at least week 3, if not 4, and still seeing results of growth regulation.

T-NEX works great!

I applied T-Nex to St. Augustine and Bermuda lawns. I noticed in particular how well it worked to suppress vertical growth of the St. Augustine. Both lawns remained very healthy but it reduced my need to mow lawn from every 4-5 days to every 7-8 days. It is easy to apply with a pump sprayer and I will definitely continue to use it.

Needs To Be One Of Your Lawn Care Products

I applied 2 ounces per 1000 sq. on perennial ryegrass at the begging of April. I use a Toro Greensmaster Flex 2100 and mow @ .75. I only need to mow every three weeks. The grass turns a dark forest green color. I'm waiting to see how it manages disease and drought this summer. Will retreat begging in June.
