The settings on the dial are the rate in teaspoons/ounces per 1000 sq ft so if you need to apply 4 fl oz per 1000 sq ft, then you will set the dial to 4. We recommend using plain water in the cannister to determine what pace you need to walk to ensure you are applying the recommended rate per 1000 sq ft for your application.
