    Q
What is the best rabbit bait?
Can we buy less than $100 worth?
    A
There are several baits that work well to lure rabbits in to the Deluxe Cat/Rabbit Animal Trap TLT606. Brussel sprouts, carrots, lettuce, or apples would all be good choices. Some trappers even swear by spraying the inside of the trap with apple cider to help lure the rabbits in. We are not sure what you mean by 'Can we buy less than $100 worth'?. You can buy as little or as much product as you like on our site. Shipping is always free, no matter the size of the order.

    Q
What is the best way to get rid of rabbits?
I have too many rabits and eat my roses and many other plants
    A
Rabbits can be hard to control because they reproduce quickly and stay hidden much of the time. Trapping and removing rabbits from your property is the only sure way to stop them from eating plants. There are several baits that work well to lure rabbits into rabbit traps. Brussels sprouts, carrots, lettuce, or apples would all be good choices. Some trappers even swear by spraying the inside of the trap with apple cider to help lure the rabbits in. You should check with local authorities to see if you can release the animals in a new location or if they must be destroyed. Another option would be to try a rabbit repellent such as Liquid Fence for Rabbits. Repellents, depending on the brand would need to be applied every 1-4 weeks to help keep the rabbits from coming into the treated areas.

    Q
Does the Tomahawk 606 trap have an option to "manually" close the trap door? - I have two kittens that I need
to catch, and I don't want one of them springing the door closed without them both being inside. I read that this 606 model has the option of putting a "water bottle with a string attached" so I can manually spring it shut once both kittens are inside...
    A
According to the manufacturer you could potentially sit by the trap and hold the door open so it would not spring shut when an animal enters the trap. The manufacturer was not aware of the "water bottle with a string attached" method and we have not heard of it either and we are not sure if it would work with this trap. You could possibly put a trail of bait inside the trap (a little bait near the front of the trap, a little bait in the middle and finally a little more bait in the back of the trap on/near the trigger plate) which could give the slower kitten time to walk into the trap and then as they progress to eating the bait placements in the rear of the trap it would spring closed.
