Worked GREAT!!!!!
By A. on 04/24/2012
We live in a small town, with a woods behind our house. Realized we had many cats. We like cats and were feeding them. We did not know about ferel cats, but through talking to several people and studying video's on line, we realized we had a fast growing problem. After talking to our county animal recovery people, we realized we needed to trap some. We bought a trap at a local store that was made so cheaply and didn't work. After returning the trap, we got on line and ordered your trap. Worked Great!!!! We are cleaning up the woods.

Rear Sliding Door worth the extra cost
By Teresa on 08/08/2012
Other traps without the rear sliding door make removing a wild cat difficult. A rear sliding door makes the job much easier and is well woth the additional cost. You do not risk being scratched as you would when you attempt to open the trap door on the standard trap.

Works Amazingly and Simply!
By Cathi on 09/02/2015
I was afraid to use this at first, as it looks a bit medieval, but once I viewed the tutorial vid and practiced setting it, I was amazed at how easily and well it worked. Used it to capture and transport a colony of feral cats a few miles down the road where I can continue being their caregiver.

Caught 5 Wild Rabbits in First 6 Days
By Jim on 08/09/2017
What works beside the cage mechanics is the recommended use of carrots and lettuce for rabbits but also spraying the cage with apple cider - that drew them. After catching, released to park about 3 miles away. Have gone 2 days without sighting a rabbit.

Worked great
By Amanda on 12/27/2019
This has worked perfectly for trapping feral cats for TNR (trap, neuter, release). Love that it locks after trapping the cat, so no escapes. Love that the back can slide up so I can give the cat food and water without getting scratched or having the cat get free.

Tomahawk deluxe cat rabbit animal trap
By Carolyn on 07/20/2018
This product should not be advertised as a cat trap
By Stephen on 03/17/2023
Hi there, The product is well made and the price is reasonable. The problem is this animal trap is too small, too confining, and too short for most cats (except for kittens). The size of this trap is 26" long x 9" wide x 9" high. Most trapped cats need to be held for a period of time before transport to a vet. This trap is much too constrictive for cats. A more reasonable size (and the size recommended for trapping cats) is the Tomahawk Model 606NC which is 30" long x 10" wide x 12" high. I have basically wasted about $200 by purchasing two of these traps from you. Thanks!

Success
By Pat on 02/12/2022
Made a path of apples and carrots leading into the trap, then threw some in the back of the trap behind the trip plate. On the second day, it caught a massive rabbit that has been feasting on my rose bushes causing a lot of damage. The trap already paid for itself. Thanks
Very good
