    Q
How do you remove a feral cat from the Raccoon/Feral Cat Sized Animals - Model TLT108?
    A
When removing a cat from this trap it is highly recommended that you cover the trap with a thick cloth for several minutes before opening the trap door so that the animal will be calm. After the door is open and left alone the cat will come out when it is ready. You could also at this point choose to remove the cat while wearing animal handling gloves if necessary.

    Q
There is a steel rod about 1ft long with a small chain on one end, what is that for on the TLT108?
    A
We have spoken with the manufacturer and the only steel rod that is on the Live Trap for Raccoon/Feral Cat Sized Animals - Model TLT108 is the trigger rod which is connected to the trigger and then to the trip pan.  They do not have a small chain on any of their traps, so are not really sure one what you could be referring to.  It might be best to call them directly to ensure you received the correct trap and for troubleshooting.  Tomahawk can be reached at 800-272-8727.
