Rat got loose in under a minute

I put the trap down in the rat's path. Within 10 minutes one of them got stuck. Before I was able to do anything, the rat flipped the tray upside down and got loose.
Good and sticky but not the best choice for rats.

Torture and brutality is not a way for any living creature to die. If you can't leave poison out, then at least invest in a bait station that your dogs, etc. cannot get to.
