Tri-Die Silica & Pyrethrum Dust is for use indoors only and is not meant for outside across the lawn. When used outside you would treat cracks around doors, windows, under siding and voids at foundation level, beneath guards on loading docks, into cracks in foundations and floors and in other places where these pests may enter building per the product label.
Talstar P can be sprayed in many areas of the lawn where flies are present to try and control the population better than a dust.
Tri-Die Silica & Pyrethrum Dust is not labelled for yellow jackets. We would recommend dusting with Tempo 1% Dust to the areas where the yellow jackets are entering and exiting around siding. When the yellow jackets contact a treated area, they pick the dust upon their legs and bodies, and they spread it to others in the nest through contact. Tempo dust will stay effective for several months as long as it is dry.
The best time to make your applications is in the late evening when they are less active. We suggest having a contact spray on hand such as the Wasp X Wasp & Hornet Spray.
