In the vegetable garden, you would need to spot treat carefully using a non-selective herbicide like RoundUp or glyphosate alternative or hand pull/dig any broadleaf weeds or thistles. You can plant areas in 2 weeks after application.Turflon Ester Ultra and Trimec 992 could be tank mixed together but we would recommend doing a jar test for compatibility as directed on the product label. The jar test simulates how it will be mixed in the tank to make sure they go into solution together. If there is no issue with the jar test, they can then be tank mixed and applied.
Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is pet safe when used as directed. Pets and people need to be kept away from the treated area during application and until everything is fully dry. Once everything is dry, it is fine to resume normal activity. If pets chew on the grass, it won't harm them once dry.

Staying about 10 ft. away from your raised garden would help to prevent any drift contacting the plants or any product getting near the root zones of your plants. Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is not labeled for wild violet therefore would not be effective in eliminating this weed.
TZone SE Broadleaf Herbicide or Hi Yield Triclopyr Ester would be alternative herbicides to target wild violet in tolerant turfgrasses. When treating in landscape beds, direct spot treatments are recommended and do not spray within the drip line of desirable plants. Do not apply when overspray or wind drift conditions are present to avoid injury.

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled to kill dandelions so you likely will see some results even after they are have flowered. Repeat applications if needed.
The best time to treat dandelions is in the fall as the weeds naturally channel their nutrients down into their roots in preparation for winter. If sprayed in fall, the weeds will naturally send the herbicide, along with their nutrients, down into the roots.In spring, applying when the weeds are young is best however repeat applications may be necessary.

Trimec 992 is a post emergent that should be applied when weeds are actively growing between 65-85 degrees. "Stickers" is a very broad term used by many to describe sharp tiny spiked weeds that commonly stick to pets fur, clothing, etc but this could be any type of weed. To be sure you are using the most effect herbicide, we would suggest contacting your Master Gardener with the County Extension Office for help in a positive id of the specific “sticker” weed you have growing in the area. This will help us in making the best recommendation for you.
The shelf life of Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is 3 to 5 years if stored in a temperature stable environment and away from any extreme temperatures, and away from any direct sunlight. The product's freezing temperature is would be in the same range as any other liquid, which would be around 32 degrees F.
