Worked very well
By Brett on 05/01/2020
We live on an acreage and the grass was being overwhelmed by clover, dandelions, crabgrass and various weeds. Within a day they began to wilt and turn yellow. I used not quite half of the container and sprayed the entire acreage. 1.5 ounces per gallon of water in a 15 gallon Fimco sprayer worked well. It also seems to be killing the multi flora rose that keeps appearing.

Tired of looking at dandelions
By Tim on 05/19/2017
2 years after moving into new construction I got fed up with looking at a infestation of dandelions and other broadleaf weeds. They were well established. Trimec did the job. Will need to reapply this fall or next spring since they were mature and abundant.

Works well but not a silver bullet
By Lew on 04/06/2014
Kills all the weeds it says it will. Also seems to kill wild onion. But weeds being weeds, expect to use this product twice a year for best result and know that it kills some weeds faster than others. Does not kill crabgrass unfortuately.

Great Prices, Free Shipping, Great Service
By Griffis on 12/07/2016
Hard to beat combination of services. Good idea to check with these folks before finalizing a purchase. Well satisfied. I have used Trimec in combination with other herbicides for a long time. This will be my first use of the Trimec 992 formulation but it works out to quite a savings over lower formulations. Just do the math.

Good Product
By Kenneth on 03/23/2018
I am very satisfied with this. Getting the mix ratio is key. My sprayer(hand held) will use 2qts of water to cover 1000sq ft area. So i added 1.1 oz to that while using surfactant as well. 14 days later I can see the weeds (henbit) in my case dying off. They have turned yellow. It does take time to kill weeds using this product, but I won't complain.

Oxalis Terminator
By Anonymous on 06/25/2013
I'm in Southern California and have Bermuda grass with that devil oxalis weed since buying the house in '94. Had not been able to kill it off with anything until now with Trimec 992. Husband and I applied it with the hose end sprayer also ordered from here. Immediate results! It did not harm the lawn. Will be putting down a second application this weekend and spot treating thereafter - if necessary, but doubt it will be needed. You can do a second application in 3 weeks. We are SO thrilled with this stuff - it is well worth the money. You will not be disappointed. Be advised it is a very strong pro formula. Would suggest wearing a mask to cover nose and mouth so you're not getting the fumes during application.

My experience
By Dwaine on 04/19/2013
Absolutely knocked the weeds down..!! This product lived up to my expectations and more. Weeds that EndRun had little affect on, felt the power of 992 within hours after application. *** If you have tough weeds in your yard, Trimec 992 will solve your problem in one application.

Quick acting yet durable
By Samuel on 03/31/2015
Knocks them down, keeps them down, down and out. The extra 24D boosts the speedy epinasty of dandelion which is a keep spring nuisance. Once correctly applied its a by gone issue of broadleaf weeds. More will show up from neighbors yards yet Trimec 992 does the job.

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide
By Glenn on 05/29/2020
Talked to DMO Tech support seeking something to kill weeds in the lawn that can also provide control of Creeping Charlie. She skillfully led me through several options and Trimec 992 was my choice. Ordered 2.5 gal size. There was a problem with the initial shipment (shipping carrier) that was immediately taken care of by DMO. The product was sprayed on a week ago and this is the best results I've seen yet on Creeping Charlie. Have a 3 acre lawn - applied at a rate of 1.5 quarts per acre. Good results on general broadleaf weeds as well as Creeping Charlie.

Grimes 992
By Steven on 07/10/2020
Quite potent. I used pints per acre and while it killed the weeds it burned parts of my fescue yard. I am a bit perplexed as to why. The areas where it burned were where my tractor tires would travel ie I have narrow burned strips roadways in my yard. The grass is recovering slowly. I will cut back to 1.1 oz per 1000 sq ft next time and test a smaller area.

I didn't get the results I had hoped for
By Larry on 12/29/2021
I am trying to eradicate a large amount of Creeping Charlie (admittedly a difficult weed to control) from my .75 acre lawn. As was suggested, I applied Trimec 992 in the fall at the time of the first frost. Before applying, I loaded 10 gallons of water into my sprayer and observed how much of the lawn could be covered before i ran out. Using the observed discharge rate I mixed up batch that would apply 4 pints per acre. A month later there was no evident distress shown by the Creeping Charlie. I might see results next spring. We'll see.

Works better than expected
By Tina on 08/21/2020
This weed killer worked better than I expected. I used a hose end sprayer to apply it. I have a 50,000 square foot yard. I only used 1/2 the jug, so there's plenty left for another application next year if needed. I live in Colorado and bind weed and wild geranium are a huge problem. This did such a thorough job killing these, I think next year my yard will be absolutely beautiful. Other weeds I had in my yard I wasn't sure would be killed, but they were, without harming my fescue lawn. I wouldn't hesitate to use this again. It's economical and works better than I expected.

Works on cool season grass
By Ross on 05/28/2014
I bought this product a year ago and used in in the fall to spot spray some thistles. It worked great and killed them off completely in about 10 days. I just used it this spring for dandelion, plantain, clover and other lawn weeds. The dandelions began to curl in about a day and a half. I sprayed when it was a bit windy and I believe it affected the overall performance. I resprayed on a calmer day 3 weeks later and now everything that was left from the first application is starting to wilt. I mixed it at the 1.5oz/1000 sq. ft. rate. I will definitely be buying this product again but for my ditches that get mowed only a few times a season I may need something stronger as the weeds are much more established.

Wonderful Company DoMyOwn - TriMec 992 Review
By Peter on 06/02/2023
If your new to this site, Do My Own, are great folks with very good service, delivery's, packaging and guidance. Regarding TriMec 992, we have a farm in NC and use it as an acreage spray and within the label. It has a higher percentage of 24D, and with strict adherence to the label, it will eradicate the most aggressive broadleafs. Keep all animals penned up until completely dry. It is a good practice to apply within 12 hours of rain. A portion of our farm is dedicated Organics, yet, best practices in farming include utilizing such herbicide products always within, and as labeled, and with this product, or any potent e herbicide regardless of generation, if you are spraying, wear a chemical respirator, goggles and gloves and wash out equipment not near any bodies of water or runoff swails.
