Hello. I thought I asked this a few hours ago, but I don't think it got sent. I just bought a house with a big yard (10,500 sq ft front, 7,500 back). Both yards have tons of weeds, many of which I can't even identify. There are dandelions, plantain, thistles and clovers, plus many creeping weeds that I'm not familiar with. Some have flowers: purple, white & yellow. I've tried Weed-B-Gone and Anime 2,4-D. After a month, some dandelions are wilted but the rest are barely phased. So I'm looking at Trimec 992 and EndRun but don't know which one to get. I can't afford both. Which would be best for my problem? Or is there another product you'd recommend? And what would be the mixing ratio of oz to gallon for spot-treating lawns? I read their labels and it's not addressed. Thank you very much!
Both Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide and EndRun are terrific Post emergent herbicides.
Since some of the weeds are not identified, we recommend contacting the local extension office and speaking with the master gardener. The master gardener wil be able to help identify and suggest specific products that work well in your area.
