  • Asked by Rich from Lancaster, Pa

    Q
Can Triplet SF Selective Herbicide be used in a horse pasture?
    A

Triplet SF Selective Herbicide is not labeled for use in a pasture. You could look at using a product like  Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer as it is a 2,4 D that can be used in a pasture. VPG (the manufacturer) advises to wait a minimum of 30 days after application of Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer before allowing animals to graze. If you are applying in a non-grazing area, they would need to be kept out of the area while spraying and until the product dries completely.

  • Asked by Andrew
    03/25/2021
    Q
Can you use Triplet SF with ortho dial n spray? If so, what would be suggested rate per 1,000 sq ft?
    A

Most herbicides are not recommended to be applied with a hose-end sprayer because it is not as an accurate of a spray as what you have with a pump style tank sprayer.  Without knowing your grass type I am not able to tell you how much product you should use per 1,000 sq. ft.  If you look on page 5 of the Product Label they have the rates listed by grass type.
