What don't people understand about "1 1/2 to 4 1/2oz per 1000 sq ft?"
That is the mixture rate, so if you could get 12 lbs in a gallon of water and spray that gallon over an acre area that is your rate!!!!
the best way to deduce this is to fill your sprayer say it's 5 gallons with water set your flow and tow it for for 1000 sq ft. judge how much water it took to reach the 1000 sq ft limit you measured off. if it took 2 1/2 gallons at the speed and flow you were pumping you'd mulitply 2.5*(1 1/2 to 4 1/2oz) and get 3.75 to 11.25oz for every 2.5 gallons of water, so your 5 gallon sprayer can apply 2*(3.75 to 11.25oz) for every 2000 sq ft and every 5 gallons of water.
remember you're not diluting the product you just need to ensure you're putting it down at the rate recommended, they don't care about how much water you use to cover that area.
