Unknown biting insects in lawn.

I am constantly getting small burning/itching blister-type symptoms on my legs within minutes of walking around my lawn. If I use a insect repellent (currently using 'REPEL'), everything is fine. I have tried spraying with various pest control solutions, to no avail. This has been going on for a couple of years (summers mostly). These insects must be very small as they are not seen when they bite/secrete. Any help will be appreciated.

Unfortunantly, until the pest is identified we are unsure which product will treat this pest. Please contact your Local Cooperative Extension Office for help identifying this pest or by contacting a local pest control company for an inspection.
