Is the yellow in Ike's Sandbur and Crabgrass Preventer a dye or one of the active ingredients? If used on a residential lawn at 4 pints per acre how soon can it be walked on?
The SDS for Ike's Sandbur and Crabgrass Preventer lists a yellow-orange appearance. Most Pendimethalin products do have a similar color and advise to avoid staining unwanted areas. The product will not to show up on the grass as an indicator dye. Allow treated turfgrass to dry before entering to avoid staining onto non-treated surfaces.
